Super 8 Fredericksburg Central Plaza

The motel was very convenient to get to and had lots of things to do nearby

Not bad for the price. No elevator. Could not find the breakfast area. I was told at check in breakfast offered until nine. If you are tired of driving and just need rest and a shower then typical Super 8. I'd stop again.

We were on our way back from a football game and figured it way at an area half way home... The staff was nice but the room we had was horrible.. Dirty walls and cob webs on the ceiling. Dirt behind the night stand and the lamp shades were stained... Overall, horrible..

The room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful, though the desk, counter tops, and remote could use a spray and wiping down. The AC worked great, the TV was fine and fully functional, as was the free WiFi. All the lights worked. They always had free coffee out near the front desk, and the free breakfast was well stocked with cereal, munchkins, toast, OJ, coffee, yogurt, and fruit. Very well located for the Fredericksburg area, and for Central Park shopping, and light at the entrance made getting across the Plank Road, I think it's Route 3, no problem. Burger King is right next door, a minute walk across the parking lot, and a ton of nice restaurants are minutes away in Central Park, Fredericksburg.

Our room, which was non-smoking had a very strong cigarette smell. In fact, there were cigarette burns in our blankets. Not satisfied at all.

Bathrooms could be more cleaner considering how many different people come to stay there.

Stopped here for an overnight stay on the way back from Florida. Close to Restaurants and shopping. Would stay here again.

Grabbed this place to be near a specific location when all the "good" places were gone. The bathroom did not appear to be cleaned (e.g. a used bar of soap was in the shower already), and smelled so bad had to open the window and run the fan. Would have rather stayed in the car....

Convenient to highways, great shopping and restaurants, and the best Goodwill around. The hotel room had fridge, microwave and hairdryer. In the process of changing from basic to a bit upgranded part by part. No elevators, but rooms on the lowest level had carpeted ramps.

I attempted to check in early. The manger went to check on my assigned room but found it not ready and asked me to return in a half hour. When I returned, different manager greeted me. He told me there was a $10 service charge and began to check the room record to see if it was ready. Just then, a guest arrived at the front desk to check out, so he took care of the customer but lost track of me in the process. I waited for twenty minutes to find out that my assigned room was not available and that I would have to be assigned a different room. When I came back to my non-smoking room that evening, I found it filled with the faint smell of cigarette smoke. This smell increase dramatically when I turned on the air conditioner to the point that it seem I was in the middle of a smoker's convention. No lights worked when I entered the room as hey had all been unplugged. The smoke smell dissipated after running the A/C for a day and a half. The bathroom fixtures work well and I had no problem with the shower head or sink stopper. The alarm clock stopped working the last evening I was there and I was not able to find a telephone book in the room. The bed and pillows were very comfy!

It was clean, and comfortable. I'd go back next year.

We were there from Friday til Wed. and never had our room made up or clean towels. The room smelled bad and we went out the first night to get antibacterial wipes for everything. We have been in motels all around the country, Mom and Pops' and chains and this was the worst I have ever stayed in. The breakfast bar was about 8 ft long with 6 oz. coffecups and nowhere to sit down to have more than 1 cup. Wouldn't ever stay there again.

great location!! the room is clean enough!! really can't complain w/ the price i paid!!

Hotel was located in a prime spot, lots of shopping, food & activities to do close by! Friendly service, clean room, and it was quiet!

Hotel met basic needs. Continental breakfast was lacking. Left 2 days early and was unable to get a refund on those nights.

Was in town for a train show. Worked hard and needed rest and trouble free entrance and exit. Would not go back. Breakfast a real joke. I am a retired Naval Officer and have travelled a fair amount. While this was not the worst place I ever stayed at, they really try for it.

I usually only travel once or twice a year for model train shows, and, as is obvious from my last two trips, no great distance. Actually Super 8 and ESA are the only places I have stayed the last 4 years. The staff at all of the locations where I have stayed have been friendly and most helpful. I guess the only complaint would be the super 8 in VA Bch because the building interior is beginning to show the effects of wear and age.

Modest room, however really enjoyed the fast wifi connection. Breakfast was spartan - but for the price can't complain.

Had no ploblems,

Since I only needed a quickie stopover, with no family, no kids, no spouse, this was fine for a place to rest up for the next leg of my journey. If there was any problem, I was unaware of it- totally acceptable in all respects!
