Great place for a vacation, business trip, or romantic weekend. Amazing room!

Under renovation but not disturbed by noise. Staff was very efficient.

We've always had a good experience but this time the fire alarm went off and we were told to evacuate the hotel immediately. For the hotel being booked full, there were about 20 people outside. The front desk clerks were still behind the desk when 2 guests entered the hotel to get on the elevators and I told them there was a fire in the building. The clerks didn't say anything to them. Some people were in the hotel and some were outside. I saw people looking out their room windows. Needs to be a better evacuation plan.

Was so excited to stay here as the location is walking distance to so many stores, restaurant and theater. Buffet breakfast is WONDERFUL. They have thought of everything, food items and containers to go. What was disappointing was that we did not get our room cleaned on day. Had a sign hanging on the door, do not disturb for a total of 1 hour, and missed the maids. Secondly, I had asked for a ride to the airport and they have a driver but he was 20 minutes late. made for a very stressful trip. Just make sure you follow up with the desk

Room was perfect size. Ample space to work and relax. Trip was for business, but with this room I could have brough family as well

The room is very spacious, clean and accomdating. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. I am staying here again.

WE STAYED OVERNIGHT FOR OUR SON'S BURIAL ON 4/15. THE HOTEL WAS GREAT AND VERY CLOSE TO THE CEMETERY. IT WAS A BRIGHT SPOT IN A SAD DAY.

Residence Inns are predictable, and that's a big plus. The Arlington Courthouse ResInn is no exception: it has what you expect and presents everything well.

I was there for the marathon & had a great experience

NIce location and lovely room. Convienient to the Metro.

Wonderful Hotel and great location. Will stay again for sure!!

Wonderful hotel and close to the metro. Doesn't get any better than this!!

Everything was ready and waiting for us. The staff was very informative and helped us with our needs.

The member of the hotel staff that made a very special effort was Nicole McDonald. The amenities make sure that we will use this hotel wheneveer we are in the area. Thank you for finding this jewel for us. Bill and Phyllis Bailey

We arrived on a Saturday afternoon, about an hour before "official" check-in time. We were checked in early, but with a few bumps (new front desk clerk?). She was very pleasant and explained services available as well as directed us to our room. Upon entering our room, it was rather warm and humid. We started the A/C (so we thought) and walked to a nearby shop to stock-up for our week-long stay. When we returned, we found that the A/C wasn't working so we called the front desk. An "engineer" was in our room within a few minutes, but had difficulty fixing the problem. I believe his supervisor was called into help and finally after 1.5 - 2 hours (and only upon our request), they moved us to another room. This part of our stay was the worst, because we were exhausted from traveling and "stuck" in our room - the A/C unit was being worked on with furniture displaced and nowhere for us to rest. Everyone was pleasant enough, but you'd think a complimentary night would have been offered or something. Breakfast was good - especially since it was FREE. Like others mentioned, it can get pretty busy, so if you don't time it just right, you could end up eating on one of the couches in the lounge or taking the food back to your room. The rooms are VERY well equipped, but the bathroom is a little too close to the bed for my comfort. I loved the extra drawers and cabinets in the vanity area and the in-room safe was a nice surprise! We would return to this hotel in a heartbeat because of the location and staff. The metro stop (elevator) is less than a block away and two stops later, you're in the District. I would have given it FOUR stars, if not for the trouble we encountered upon arrival.

Stayed here before, great location. Walking distance to many restaurants & Metro.

It was the first trip to D.C. for me and my husband and I wanted to make it easy for him. He loved the room overlooking the courtyard. The metro was only 2 minutes or less down at end of courtyard. No traffic to deal with. So easy. Several restaurants in the area plus a marketplace that had a lot of items you might want or need. The morning breakfast was great with lots of choices; we only ate once at the hotel in the evening, it was okay, but we were not very hungry so it did not matter that much. Both were included with room, so you can't beat that value. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

What can I say? It's clean, with friendly staff, and it's close to the subway (and grocery stores, restaurants, etc). I would certainly book it again.

The location, near a Metro station, was perfect for us.

We used the hotel as the daily rest stop during our visit to Washington D.C. for the Cherry Blossom Festival. It was nice to get to a quiet area away from the crowds after a long day. The pool was great, not because it was anything special but because of the lifeguard on duty. He saw that my son was shivering after getting out of the pool and placing his feet in the hot tub - so he came over and placed a towel on his back. Small details like this really made me happy we selected this hotel. The suite was excellent. We were able to have the kids on one side in their own room while we were on the other.
