Very nice room. Very expensive restaurant with not very good food. Not worth the money. Staff was very helpful and pleasant.

the staff was extremely accommodating! i haven't stopped talking about the graciousness of the overnight staff. the man and woman on staff Friday morning around midnight was stellar!

I stayed at this hotel for three nights and was happy with it. I would certainly be glad to come again.

Walking distance to restaurants, the metro, Arlington cemetery and Iwo Jima. D.C. Is just a walk over the bridge. Very convenient and the hotel staff was excellent and very helpful!

The location is great near metro stop and just a short walk to Georgetown. My biggest complaint is that there is only free Wifi in the lobby. Really, I don't want to have to pay to get WiFi in my room, in this day and age, and at an otherwise nice hotel.

Enjoyed my stay, would book again. Clean room, easy checkout. Enjoyed the fitness center as well .

We had a very good time. I was just surprised that the room did not offer complimentary bottles of water or shower caps. The two restaurants were delicious.

The room and dining areas were fine. The pool area and the elevators looked a little beat up. The exercise equipment was good but the exercise rooms layout was pretty bad (split into 3 pieces). Clearly a few storage areas were changed to a workout space as an afterthought in order for the hotel to advertise that it had workout facilities. Overall, this is a family friendly hotel if you have little children (not so many here) and retirees (lots of retired people staying). I prefer a slightly more up-market hotel with a bit more elegant common areas. This one is more of a "nice for a chain motel" kind of place. One warning, they will charge nearly $13/day for internet....which is pretty much an anachronism in this age when McDonalds gets you unlimited access with (or without) the purchase of a dollar ice tea. I could see extra charge for extra fast and extra reliable internet but basic 1.5MB/sec should be free. If you are like me and work 7 days a week - sneaking in some work on 3-mails even on a weekend day (and night) in DC with my younger son - you depend on that internet to get stuff done so having to pay an extra $13 is an annoyance. I know that the business traveler/government traveler on the weekdays gets a reimbursement but I am just a leisure traveler so it is out-of-pocket.

We had just finished a group tour with my children's elementary School and decided to sty a few extra nights. best idea the suite was huge and accommodated my family if 5 nicely and the price was great.

The hotel is old but still nice. Everything was convenient and there is a Starbucks in the lobby!

I am being double charged for the stay at Marriott & Marriott is giving me a hard time with this.

Within 4 hours of check in, the toilet in our bathroom overflowed. They transposed the room number, therefore water is flowing out into the hall. We changed rooms and were promised a rollaway because we went from 2 doubles to a king. We were also promised a nice room for the next 2 nights. At midnight after us calling and asking for the rollaway, we got the rollaway. The next day we DID NOT get another room. They did not have one available. We were promised 5,000 Marriott points and to this point those points were not given either. So... we were stuck in a small room with no room to walk around. The room had not been renovated as the original room either. A positive was the buffet breakfast and Martha making a fresh omelet.

We stayed for New Year's Eve and couldn't have asked for a better location and place to spend time for our one night stay. We were right across the Potomac from all the action.

Great location and friendly staff and clean. Overall experience was outstanding.

Room was small but comfortable. A little disappointed that after being gone all day, the room had not been serviced when we returned. I would definitely have been disappointed if I had paid $250/night for the room.

I booked this hotel last minute due to its location and price. That being said, I didn't expect much. It started off good once I found out I was on the first floor! The room was clean and in great condition. The pillows and mattress were both soft. The showerhead was the rainfall style with great pressure. My only issue with the hotel was parking. There is a parking garage on the premises, but they charge around $20 per day to park. There is NO free parking around.

Only stayed 1 night but staff from check-in to concierge could not have made us more welcome and were very helpful. The concierge, Omar, gave us great advice on nearby dining, the Metro and parking situation. While it's a little more than I like to spend for 1 night, being treated so well made it well worth it. nicely.

This Marriot is in a fantastic location. Could benefit though from a shuttle service to and from the metro/bus station and to and from Georgetown. The lobby areas are up to date, the exterior is in need of a facelift and the prices and fees are typical for 4-5 star hotels. The fitness area is exception al under sized. The location is awesome and easy to get to.

We enjoyed our stay, great hotel 4.5/5 price location cleanliness. We came with 2 bikes and 2 kayaks, I chose this place bc they could accommodate our packed out vehicle with parking. It is just over the bridge and a great ride to downtown, we biked to brunch, the capitol, white house etc we also kayaked the Delaware after launching at Reagan airport, proximity to that boat launch was awesome! I will stay here again! walking across the bridge at sunset weren't bad neither!

Very nice and friendly hotel. Very close to DC and Georgetown. Will be back there again.
