Very friendly staff, helpful . We needed some local information and we're very accommodating

My 3rd Hyatt Hotel I've stayed. .they are ALL clean and comfortable. .... This is the only one that charges for breakfast..a mistake..

My Uncle enjoyed his stay during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend at the Hyatt.

I guess they were in the middle of renovations. I had an unrenovated room. I would have asked for a renovated room had I known at the time.

Very old, it should be a motel And 2 stars. Dont let the lobby fools you.

The staff was less than helpful. It was also surprising that the bar did not open on Sunday until 3 pm. I couldn't even get a Bloody Mary. I was told I would have to wait until 3 pm. Who drinks a Bloody Mary at 3 pm?

Nice location with plenty of shops, walmart, target etc within walking distance.

The hotel needs to train the housekeeping staff and the Starbucks employees. It wasn't possible to get a specialty coffee made correctly. We also had to request towels after our room was cleaned. Everything else was very nice.

We really enjoyed the convenience to roads and the Metro. We got around the DC region as easily as one might in such a traffic choked part of the nation. The hotel staff was uniformly cooperative and friendly, and the hotel included breakfast and tip in the price. The weekend rate was unbeatable, especially considering the condition of the property, which is fine.

I was a little worried going to this hotel due to some reviews, but had to say it was pleasant. When I first got there to check in the guy almost charged me for the stay even tho I payed up front already and I told him I should only be paying the 40 a night for damage security which he apologized for. The room was nice other than some of the furniture being worn. Bathroom was the perfect size. Only thing was the air/heat my boyfriend and I kept waking up due to being hot then cold in the middle of the night, not sure if was because there only really a vent in the room but I did like the fact I could control the temperature.

Room was cleaned every day, new towels and bed sheets. Sofa had a few dark stains but no other negative comments. Everything else was excellent. Hotel had shuttle service to Metro station.

The hotel is really a 5 stars hotel - clean and the staff are very professional. Excellent in all aspects

Nice hotel. Pretty clean, nice lobby, hotel staff pleasant. bathroom a little small, the hotel is a little conservative with toiletries, so we ran out of toilet paper, did not get enough shampoo, no tea bags, etc. but when we asked for them they brought them up quickly. Breakfast was good, it was a little confusing because not everyone gets free breakfast so it is charged to room and then removed at the end. Nice pool, not huge but sufficient. Overall a good + experience. I would stay there again.

Tony at the front desk was excellent! He had a map of DC and mapped out all of the stops on the metro for me. My only complaint is that the unique set up of the room only allows 1 person to watch tv at a time from the beds. Wonderful staff in the bar and restaurant. GREAT selection for breakfast and it was included in my stay!

The hotel was comfortable and clean. We chose this hotel because it offered a shuttle to the Metro; however, the shuttle is irregular and the wait was too long - we wound up driving to the Metro station. Fortunately, the drive was not far (about15 minutes) and easy to find with GPS. The food at the hotel was overpriced but there is a Target and other shops practically next door. The free breakfast buffet is decent but overpriced. Definitely not worth $18- for those offered free breakfast, read the fine print (only covers 2 people) and you have to tip your server.

Overall staying at the hotel was a pleasant experience. The staff was very polite and helpful. The room was very nice and clean. The only issue was the price of the breakfast buffet which was too expensive. Overall I would stay at this hotel again.

The hotel is decent. No bag check, but they do have the karts to do it yourself. They decided to work on the pipes stirring the hours of the morning so we had no hot water. I ended up taking a cold shower because I didn't want to wait any longer to leave the hotel. Other than that it was ok.

The hotel looks grand from the outside, it is nice and clean but furniture needs updating. Also breakfast is too expensive.

Nice location. ...nice staff... the food is pretty good from.the grille overall it was a nice experience from the HYATT

We appreciate you taking some of your valuable time to share your experience. I'm sorry to hear we did not meet your expectation on this trip. Although the guest rooms are well maintained and clean, they are outdated which is why our new ownership is investing over 14 million into the rooms. We have 4 of our 13 floors completed and expect them all by the end of the year. I'm sure you will be impressed by the dynamic transformation the rooms have taken. We hope you return soon to see them.
