I liked it's proximity to the airport & to good restos.

For as big as the hotel was, I was expecting much better staff, and cleanliness. When checking in the staff where not information at all. They forgot to mention they would be charging my card with an extra hold on top of the room fee. This happen to several that were on our floor. When approached it was explained staff did not relay appropriate information when checking in. Also there where no directions as to where to park for room, where room was located, where breakfast or any facilities were.... nothing. I’ve never checked into a room and got so little hospitality, information, or been rushed along. Upon finding our room we passed multiple pieces of candy, food and snacks lying in the hall. Room service/staff frequented the hall several times and not once were any of said pieces picked up in well over 2days. We saw higher up staff while walking the halls and they were so into their own conversations they never once did the traditional ‘hello, how’s your stay’ etc I’ve received from other hotels. The pool was shut down, the noise level at night exceeded past 11pm with teens and children carrying on, knocking on doors, and running the halls continuously. Overall it was not a good experience for the size of the hotel. I expected much better, friendlier, informative, and cleaner based on the ratings.

The up-to-date bedroom and bath were clean and well-appointed. Front desk staffer when I checked in greeted me with "Last name?" and I had to ask for details such as check-out time and breakfast availability. Not a big deal certainly, but this interaction didn't make the greatest first impression.
