We stayed 2 separate nights a few days apart. Rooms were huge and spotless. We got placed in a “handicapped” room on the 3rd floor the first time-which we did not ask for. (Having a small, elderly mom, this room would not meet a handicapped person’s needs as the sink was way too high, as was the bathtub.) On the second visit, we asked for a regular room, which had decent sized bathroom countertops. Room size was the same. Beds/pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was adequate. Very low water pressure in the third floor room improved in the second floor room-I would have given 5 stars except for the above 2 issues, but I would stay there again!
I was very impressed from beginning to end of my 4 day stay! The accommodations were wonderful and I really appreciated De's helpful approach and "knock your socks off" customer service. She was very professional and a great help.
The hotel was very nice however entering and exiting the driveway was very dangerous. The entrance is off of Highway 17 and the speed limit is 55 miles per hour. Heavy traffic constantly makes it very dangerous. There is a back gate but it is padlocked and not used. Could not recommend this hotel because of the entrance. Also Google Drive directions to enter through the back gate which is never open.
In area to go to dinner theatre as well as visit historical district. Even though on front side (Interstate side) we found the room quiet for sleeping both nights of our stay. King sided bed was very comfortable and the room clean. Nice TV channel selection. Front desk very responsive to our needs. Breakfast offered a very good variety of food and beverages. Very close and easy to attend the excellent Riverside Theatre. Appreciate the hotel supports the Arts.
The location is excellent for any business requirements south of Occoquan. Easy on and off highway 95 with plenty of eateries within a short distance. The complimentary breakfast bar is adequate. The rooms are fine. I travel with a surge protector extension cord so the lack of bedside plugs are never a problem. I will return.
I was so happy to arrive after a long day of driving. The room was squeaky clean, a/c was comfortable, and the folks at the desk were extra friendly and helpful. My husband and daughter arrived about 4 1/2 hours later than I did, in my daughter's car. I had told them at the desk that my family was meeting me there and there was a key ready for them (with their names on it) so they could come right up. This may sound like a little thing, but there were even plenty of towel racks in the bathroom! (a pet peeve of mine is not having a place to hang your towel!) We all had a good, comfortable night's sleep followed by breakfast (husband and daughter made waffles and had eggs) and got on the road again to go to the Outer Banks. Next time we go down, we plan to stay here again! The only thing that would have made it easier for me would have been a sign I could see when I was driving south on 17 in the dark. All in all, great stay. Thank you.
We would stay here again. Great staff. Room was comfortable. Loved the pillows. Temperature control worked, thank goodness. WiFi connection was better than at some properties. Nice breakfast. Easy access to I-95.
Booked two rooms for an overnight stay on the way to the beach. We checked in late (9:30pm) and the woman at the front desk was very friendly. They also had cookies available for guests checking in; which was a hit for our 4 year old son! The rooms were clean and exactly as described...the wifi connection was hit-or-miss. The only downside was the breakfast: coffee was mostly water, the waffle mix tasted sour, orange juice wasn't mixed very well in the machine, etc. We weren't expecting a luxurious spread, so it wasn't a huge disappointment...just something to consider if you're planning on a nice breakfast to start the day. Definitely better than the Wingate by Wyndham next door (stayed there last year and it was a dump).
I stopped at the Comfort Suites and the stay was very pleasant. I was driving back to Montreal that morning and there was everything that I needed in the area. I left earlier than most guest so the breakfast was not served at 5:15 AM but the hotel provided small bags of breakfast on the go. A nice touch. There were plenty of gas stations and a convenience store across the street.
We found the rooms to be very comfortable and the service for the breakfast was fast and expedient. Everyone in the family left with full stomachs and smiles on their faces. We would definitely use you again. You had a very nice receptionist named Laura who was very pleasant with a big smile as she greeted and welcomed us in, thanks Laura!
