It started off ruff... We were told we could check in early, which did not happen. Check in time is 4:00, told we could check in at 11 AM, arrived at 10. Then told we could check in at 3:00, then told 4:00. Ended up getting to our room at 4:30. The staff was not very friendly or helpful, other then one gentleman in the activities department, he tried. Got to room, toilet did not work in master. Plumber was up 4 times to fix, before we arrived I am almost sure it over flowed in in bathroom. So then had to deal with maid service to get the floor and bathroom cleaned. So ..... this is why started off ruff... The next 2 days were fine.....

I’ve been staying at the Palomas resort for over a year and I just love there welcoming staff comfy room, private and safe area, I just experienced rude management with personnel in front of customers.

Clean and nice hotel. Excellent restaurants: Citrics and 19 Holes. Fine and good amount of food. Close to beach. Convenient wash for beach sands. The only thing is the front desk did not provide a clean parking direction and local Puerto Penasco map.

The location of the condo was excellent. Few steps to the beach, and nearby restaurants and Malecon.

Check in was simple and easy but they are very strict with the 4pm check in. You are allowed to use pool and facilities while you wait.. Rooms were clean, spacious and fully stocked kitchens with everything from bottle openers, tupperware and baking dishes. Views are incredible! Lots of pools but definitely NOT enough chairs. We saw several people arguing over chairs, towels went missing from people that left towel on chairs to reserve while the walked around. There is a lazy river and slide, but no floaties are provided. Bring your own! ...or they can be purchased from vendors on the beach. Beach has crystal clear water and sand area is cleaned. Beach is the only place you can find shade. Bar has decent prices and happy hour 2x1 daily, but it is pretty hard to get service. Seems there is not enough people working bar. I was never offered a drink while lounging in chairs, although i do think someone walks around taking orders, it was always "faster" if you went and stood there yourself. convenience store doesnt have a big assortment, just essentials but very reasonably priced for the items we bought (water/ juice / coffee).

5th time booking with Palomas Resort and I Love this place , Pricey but well worth it.

Couch bed had bed bugs an the drapes wet pulled and falling in master bedroom the towels were dirty and the sheet were all dirty

I was not able to check in until 5pm. The staff very unprofessional and rude. The food was horrible.

When arriving the guy who help us was being very rude. I ask him a question he snapped . I totally do understand it was busy but it was for no need of him to be rude

We were a little off season. Accordingly, things were quite quiet. Very nice facility. Lovely pools. On the beach.

My room was partially ocean view instead of completely ocean view!!! The room was very clean and comfortable . Jose was very nice and helpful.

We moved to Phoenix 2 years ago and have heard of rocky point since moving. We have a friend in town and wanted an adventure. We drove down without any problems. We got to our room to discover it was a one bedroom condo. Beautiful view and nicely appointed condo. We stayed there because they have a swim up bar. Really nice pool and lazy river. Bring your own floaty's. The beach was beautiful and clean. The resort is very close to town which was fun for dinner. Restaurant's in town close at 8:00 which is quite early for us. We had a wonderful stay and will return.

Everything was more than excellent. My kids enjoy it and love it. Its great for a get away couple and also gor family vacations.

restaurants closed; no hot water (nobody told us at check in to turn on - figured out late evening before retiring and wanting to take a shower; wifi not operating; convenience store not open advertised hours; great facility, pools, beach, condo, by the staff, word on street is property is undergoing financial issues.......

Always a great, safe place to stay.

This was a family vacation and we had a great time. room was clean and had everything we needed. we are coming back soon.

We had this trip planned forever so the SWINE FLU wasn't keeping us away. It was our 1st trip to Rocky Point, and we had a blast. The staff was great, our 1bedrm condo was PERFECT, well decorated and had everything you'd ever need. We had all the attention of the staff since there weren't many guests at the hotel or even in town. We are coming back as soon as the flu issues are cleared up.

the condominiun was great like being on a house great for families . there is limitations about food ,bring tour own food ro snacks if possible

Las Palomas is located directly on the beach in Puerto Penasco Mexico. Every balcony overlooks the resort pool area and the ocean. The room itself was a 1 bedroom condo that was large and nicely furnished. There are dining establishments at this resort, but they are limited to either a poolside bar or a pretty highend restaurant. I would have enjoyed a greater mix of some of the local food choices. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this facility. One thing to be aware of if traveling here is that on Monday's they close down 1 of the 2 customer service (Checkout) counters and the lines to checkout can be long. I believe I waited 45 minutes in line, and that was unfortunate.

The pool areas and lazy river nice, however, we wished all of the pools were heated. We visited in Jan 08 and it was a bit chilly. We are considering returning during the warmer months.
