The strangest experience we have ever had staying at a hotel. In the middle of the night we got a robot call from the police. May have been some type of amber alert but will never know as the hotel staff seemed totally uninterested. Not even concerned for the great inconvenience this caused. Poor service. Place needed an update. Every time the a/c went on smelled of a smoke.
At first this hotel seems to be in a great location above the beautiful city of Nazare, and the lobby appears to be quite inviting but once we got through our very pleasant check-in with Michaela (only truly friendly staff person we encountered during our stay), things went downhill. The beds are uncomfortable as was the linen - scratchy and starchy sheets, the and the extra bed felt like a cot you sleep on at sleepaway camp - not at all adequate for a third person that wants a good nights sleep. There is a depressing cafe by the outdoor pool with few options other than a dinner buffet on the 4th floor in the evening. No other restaurant options around unless you take a cab down to the central part of town. And speaking of cabs, a total drag to get a cab. We waited and waited and waited for a cab to arrive, the staff helped by calling a cab company but only because they didn't seem to have a choice. Barely a smile and you got the feeling that they were bothered and annoyed by this basic request. We were not rude, in fact we were pretty nice but assertive in our request. Don't be fooled by the photos, this place is not worth the money they charge. The view is really the only thing worth the money - it is indeed a beautiful view. We will not be staying at this hotel ever again and will NOT be recommending it to friends or family.
Horrible location ,only good view . Far away from the shops and restaurants. Menu very poor . breakfast quality not so high. Decoration what a mess.update the tv channels, pool it's nice, overall I give 2,5 stars
The hotel is very quiet, clean and light. The staff is very good and ambitioned. The rooms are large and nice. Unfortunatley there is no direct access to the cost/beach nearby. The parking of the car outside the Hotel and in the hotel is very easy and free of Charge.
This was a last minute booking for us which ended up being great. The reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because it is not near anything. We caught a cab from where all the restaurants were and it was about 8 euros if I recall. We had a room with a ocean view and it was really beautiful. The breakfast was pretty good. Overall our experience was a good one.
Our family stayed for 3 nights and we really enjoyed the wonderful view from the infinity pool. Rooms were clean and service was very good... dinner buffet was okay but could have more selection. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel for families with kids.
Rooms fine, food mediocre, reception unfriendly., but dining room staff helpful..location lovely, but no where to go around the hotel. Long walk into town on narrow traffic filled street...hotel navette not reliable...taxi's 6 euros each way.
Not yet 10 years old, the conservation in general is zero. For a 4 stars Hotel, we expected at least some more experience for the Reception personal. The route isnt perfect but for the view it is worthy.
Great Hotel, fantastic view, clean and spacious rooms, comfortable beds, fantastic breakfast buffet...friendly staff, will definitely use this hotel again...you will need a car if you don't like long walks to the harbour, but I'm sure they do a shuttle bus ...
Spectacular views and great rooms! Away from the beach and very secluded. It felt very safe as well. The staff was friendly and courteous. The food in the restaurant was not great, so you might want to eat down in the town of Nazere.
