With both the bus station and train station accessible by foot and right in the Town centre the hotel was brilliant . A bit on the expensive side but they do take proper care of the guests . Just don't drink from the Costa machine there . Too expensive .
We met up for a weekend with friends & chose Northampton as midway between us. The Park Inn was a great choice. We booked 2 x double rooms & we arrived within minutes of each other. Check in was swift by a friendly informative female member of staff. The hotel is modern & clean throughout. Our rooms were both on the 5th floor reached by 2 lifts. Great controllable aircon & a comfy bed ensured a good nights sleep & the power cloud shower was a great wake up. Breakfast was priced at £7.50 served as a buffet & was tasty & extensive. We'd have no hesitation recommending or indeed staying here again :)
I recently stayed in the Park Inn, Northampton. After having some 'interesting' experiences in some hotels, I rang ahead to request a tip floor, end-situated Superior Room in the hope that I would have as restful a time as possible. This was agreed by the booking team, so I proceeded to book and await my night's stay. As I arrived (Friday evening) I was greeted well, and given the key you room. On going to the room, I quickly realised that it was neither on the top floor or on the end of the corridor. With deep sigh, and expecting to be told that there were no available rooms, I called reception. I recounted my reasons for requesting a top floor- end room and made it clear that this had been promised by the booking team. To my surprise, the lady on reception had no quibbles, called me down immediately to change room and sorted me out very efficiently. On arrival to my top floor- end room, the overally standard was- ok. I have to be honest, I did expect a little more of a salubrius room. The room was slick, but basic- especially for a Superior room. Hey ho! As I'd already paid, I thought I'd better make the most of it. Room was clean, bathroom was clean and the bed was comfy. It wasn't the largest room is ever been in, but it was fine. In terms of extras, you don't get a lot for your money: a small selection on Dove toiletries, a tiny flapjack and two small bottles of kiddie-looking water, and the usual hot drinks. The room was cold, but the hearing system is effective, so eventually I warmed up! Ironing facilities were useful, and the TV was good quality. I am pleased to say that I had a good night's sleep- hurrah! So no complaints there... Breakfast: I have to say, it's pretty basic in terms of the warm selection, and the jury's still out with regards to the fried and cubed sweet potato and red pepper combo. However, all clean and pleasant- so no real complaints. All in all, a good stay, I would say that 85 quid for the Superior Room felt a little expensive... I'd say that the room and breakfast was more 70 than 85 quid, hey ho... staff are proactive and I had a good night's sleep- now that's priceless!
We travelled here from Surrey as we had come up to see an old school friend at his tattoo shop for my wife to get a new tattoo. The hotel was very clean and staff were helpful. We had a superior room was great but we did expect it to gets little bigger. There was only one dressing gown and there was two of us and only one complimentary cake but that didn’t bother us. Bed was clean and comfortable and the colour changing lights on them were Groovy. Staff were helpful and even did us a desert to take to our room after normal room service hours. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of choice. Would stay here again if coming to see friends again.
Stayed whilst attending training for work, the hotel is located a short walkable distance from the local railway station. The staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful. The rooms are a fair size and include tea and coffee facilities and a safe, they are nicely decorated however a few bits of wear and tear are visible in places, the beds were comfy however some of the pillows where lumpy and the extraction in the bathroom wasn’t quite powerful enough. The showers are great but the could be better of a removable shower head was added as the ceiling only shower head makes it difficult to wash fully. I would recommend this hotel again and will revisit when visiting Northampton again.
This hotel is very modern and the staff are very good at helping with any problems the hotel is in the town centre with a 5 minute walk to the town centre shops and market there are plenty of bars and eating establishments in the area also the hotel has a gym and sauna to help you relax would recommend this hotel have stayed here numerous times and have not had one bad visit.
Nice hotel very close and handy to the town centre. The Parking system they operate is nice and easy so do let the parking fee put you off. Friendly staff. Check in and out very efficient. Very busy breakfast so a little bit of queuing. You can avoid this by sitting down about 9.00/9.30. If you wait longer you will have to queue for your coffee and toast.
Recently used one of the conference room for a course. The hotel facilities for the conference room were of very high standard.A coffee machine is provided just outside the room. There is free car parking for the course attendees.
Lovely clean hotel very helpful staff . Modern rooms great place to stay as near town centre good for shopping weekends and lovely and relaxing place the swimming pool and jacuzzi is an added bonus . And yummy breakfast .
Staff friendly enough although none were exactly offering to go out of their way to help. Room was clean and smart if a little on the small side - for example only just enough room to pass between bottom of bed and vanity unit. Sound insulation could do with an upgrade which is worth bearing in mind if they have any late night music events on. We were on the 4th floor and it still disturbed us. We had dinner in the restaurant because we could not get seated in the bar area. Food was good but slightly overpriced. Wine list restricted and again a bit pricey. We could not get the wine we wanted and ended up with the house wine which was basically a cheap Spanish plonk - tasted ok but would not pick it again.
