We stayed here (two nights) as a group with my company and had a business meeting here too. Parking is easy, massive own car park away from the M1. Very easy to find.Reception was professional and courteous and prompt. I received an upgrade as my room was not ready, and very nice it was too. Although it did seem to be a bit of a walk to most areas within the hotel, it didn't spoil my stay. Rooms décor are very tastefully done and lots of extras to keep you pampered. We concluded our business meeting early and drifted to the bar and had a thoroughly nice late afternoon and evening in there, our food needs were catered for and again all staff encountered were courteous and professional - not forced either. back at the room for settling down , the shower was great and facilities just as good. Had a great nights sleep without any noise from neighbours or traffic. Breakfast was wonderful and I seem to remember everyone else in my party saying the same too. Checking out was a breeze and a small walk to our cars set us up for a great day ahead, totally refreshed and charged. I would definitely stay here again if passing or in the area, and would recommend too.
Really rather good. I don't know what to say here but we all know we like a good deal. Furthermore, beds are very comfy too. Staff are friendly and polite which is a must! Go for it! Worth a stay guys and girls
I stay here whenever I stay in Northampton and am always well looked after by the staff. Reception is always friendly as is restaurant and bar. The rooms are quite well equipped and have recently had TVs upgraded. The luxury rooms are very pleasant with large jacuzzi and outside balcony and seating area. The hotel is a little away from Northampton centre but well located for accessing the nearby Brackmills Business Park
We stayed at the Marriott Hotel as we went to a Wedding at the venue. The wedding was fantastic. This hotel is very clean throughout with helpful staff. With all your needs for any stay. There is a swimming pool, gym and spa all free to use by guests. The rooms have free wifi and really good signal where most hotels when you get free wifi either the signal is really poor or you only get it in the reception area. The dinner and breakfast was delicious but expensive. I would book your breakfast at the reception for £10 pp and £5 a child and not when you go for breakfast as it will cost £15pp. However it's all you can get breakfast and the food is great. The bar is very expensive (even for hotel prices) this is the only negative I can think of. We had stayed in a family room and it was big with plenty of space. Would I stay at a Marriott Hotel again? YES.
First time to this hotel and not that impressed, Large sprawling newish building easily accessible from M1 etc. Room was fantastic spa bath etc, outside sitting area but a bit of a trek from the public areas, bar staff were good and helpful but had to keep apologising because tables hadn't been cleaned etc. Breakfast, had to wait ages to be seated because the 2 girls were talking at the back of the room, the table don't look as though it had been cleaned, the napkin had a large coffee stain on if(not sure how fresh) and the choice of food was not good nor did it look particularly appetitising hardly any fruit and I was in there about 8:00am so shouldn't have been left with the only a few bits and pieces, the coffee was appalling, Marriott need to work on the details or take the franchise away
We use this hotel frequently when driving from the North West to Kent, it's ideally situated near to the motorway to break the journey. The rooms are nice here, we've always had good service here and we like the bar in the building. The bar allows you to order from both the bar food menu as well as the main restaurant menu which I always think is nice if you've made yourself comfortable in the bar area! Breakfast is really nice here, traditional English plus lots of pastries etc. Gets you filled up for the next stage of your drive :)
Excellent facilities. Very comfortable with high quality fixtures and fittings in room. Very good food, excellent friendly and very helpful staff and altogether a very good experience. Strongly recommend.
My in-laws recently came to see us, and as we couldn't accomodate them, we suggested they stay at the Marriott as it was local to us. We took them to check in and were greeted by a very helpful receptionist, who was very polite and dealt with them effectively. The room was very pleasant - well decorated and everything worked as it should. Found the rooms and the hotel to be very clean and well maintained. The family had breakfast at the hotel, and couldnt fault it.
Good food though drinks are pricey. Event management was good throughout the day We had 50 delegates and the breakout area and the room were comfortable Buffet lunch was simple though adequate. Parking was good Location was central for driving too
This is my first time ever writing a review but I felt I had to!!! Stay here recently as a special treat and our stay was excellent. Rooms were super clean, breakfast was lush and so much variety. Staff in all areas where amazing and friendly. Pool are could do with an uplift as its so peaceful, clean and relaxing but its age lets it down but that did not spoil the time away.
