Stay here for 2 nights on a business trip. Arrived late on the first night and was welcomed by a friendly guy named i believe to be Godfrey. On the second day I had a very nice cooked breakfast which is rare in this industry of cheaper hotel accommodations. again at dinner time the staff were all welcoming and speedy service. 5 ***** rating on customer satisfaction. Well done Godfrey and team 1st class customer service.
We stayed for just one night and the experience was really good. We were greeted by Godfrey upon our arrival and he was also on hand when we dined in the restaurant that evening. The room was comfortable and the facilities although basic were fine. The evening meal and breakfast were of a very high standard and the waiting staff were friendly and attentive. We have stayed at other so called budget hotels and that's exactly what they were, whereas this hotel is more like a mid-range hotel. We also discovered that as we had booked directly, the Wi-Fi was free.
We stayed at the campanile Northampton on 28th October we checked in very quickly as we was staying here due to traveling to a wedding so we dropped the bag and returned to the wedding, the next morning I went to have a shower to find the bathroom ceiling was covered in Mould and all down the tiles. When we checked out I told the guy on reception who simply said "you should of informed us when you checked in!" I advised I didn't have time to check the room and didn't realise I had to check the room, when I asked him what would happen regarding this he said nothing and shrugged his shoulders and said bye, I then threw the door key on to the desk and said I will be calling your customer care line to complain and he said ok you do that. Please see pictures of the bathroom attached I have called customer care but had no joy yet regarding a response.
The Campanile was an affordable and comfortable stay while I was here on business. Parking was free with my stay and breakfast was cheap and yummy. There was no hair dryer in my room and wifi is not free. However, for the price of the hotel I was overall very pleased.
Stayed here on business, I thought the staff were nice and it was clean and tidy and reasonably priced but the beds had really hard springs sticking in your back. I would not stay again unless something was done about the beds.
As has been said before it is the same as any Campanile. You get what you pay for. Comfortable but not stylish or elegant. Breakfast was excellent. Room was clean, plenty of towels, limited hanging space for clothes, and the bed is okay.
Stopped over one night in this clean comfortable business hotel. Double Rooms are a good size with a functional ensuite . Shower over the bath. Basic coffee making . No safe. Several Tesla chargers but be sure you register your number plate at reception to avoid a fine. Very hand for the M1 too.
Booked the hotel as was attending an event at Silverstone. I arrived and booked in and paid for the 24hr wifi and paid for the room in full to save paying in the morning. Instead going straight to the room, I went across to harvester for lunch and on way back I realised I hadn't been given the code for the wifi so I went to reception and there was someone else serving. He looked on computer and questioned whether I had paid and whether I had been given the code. Later on, one of my friends arrived and booked in but when he went to pay by cash he was told they didn't accept cash for payment of rooms so he had to make another arrangement. Shortly afterwards, someone else paid by cash on arrival so seemed to be one rule for one and one for another. We went out for meal later then came back for a drink before bed but were told they couldn't accept cash and could only take card payment and wanted to take a payment of £20 on it before doing the drinks. Staff didn't go out of their way at all, the hotel in itself was ok. The rooms were nice and the bed was great. The lift didn't work which wasn't an issue for us but could be for some. Staff training or new staff would improve it greatly. Seeing as holiday inn is across the road, you would think they would be keen to be good
Last week I stopped in a campanile hotel in Leicester. In truth there was no significant difference to this one. Same green room fittings, same decor, same menu. Nothing to make your stay feel individualised. Room was nice and clean and staff very friendly. A couple of things I don't like though Disposable coffee cups in the room. Not very "green" and very undercooked poached eggs at breakfast Free wifi worked ok and plenty of on site parking. The hotel is situated close to motorway junction which worked well for me Would I return? Yes
The hotel is clean, beds are big and very comfortable, rooms come with sircon, staff are very friendly and can’t do enough for you, breakfast is fab with a good choice of both cooked and continental. I stay here at least once a week because of the location, straight off the M1. I book corporate events here too - because I trust that they will look after me, my event and my guests. Here’s a couple of pointers - yes there is disposable cups in your room for tea and coffee but isn’t that what you get from Costa or Starbucks? Yes it’s true there are no plastic cups in the bathroom but if you call reception they will bring you extra paper ones. Yes there is little in the way of healthy choices on the restaurant menu but there is a Harvester over the road or you can ask the restaurant to make you something - they will be happy to do their best for you. I will continue to stay here happily.
