I booked this hotel with a party of 2 others as we were involved in an exhibition at the Wonderful MOSTYN Gallery over the road. This hotel has an amazing location as it is not only a 1 minute walk from the gallery but also only 1 street removed from the waterfront, next door to an amazing sit-in ice cream parlour, and a 30 second walk to a Starbucks. There is also a large superstore nearby in case you are here for a longer stay as I was. The shower and bath were lovely, with the shower being perfectly pressurised. The bed was incredibly comfy too and I had no trouble sleeping, in fact I had an amazing night's sleep every night. The desk in my room came in very handy as this was a work trip. The best part of my stay though was the lovely owner who always greeted me with a smile and offered great recommendations, not to mention providing a great breakfast every morning. Samuel
We had booked a two night stay but due to the state and uncleanliness of the room we didn't stay. The bannister rail going to the bedrooms is unsafe and has been inadequately repaired. I would not recommend.
We were travelling with a dog. Great for that. Basic rooms but clean. New owners, as have stayed here several times before. Will come again. Parking can be a problem. Good location, right by shops/promenade.
We stayed for 2 nights for my partners birthday, from the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. Our room was large had a sofa to sit and relax as well as the comfy double bed. 2-3 minute walk to the sea front great cafes and shops. View is a bit limited as they are knocking a building down opposite. Breakfast was very good fresh and hot. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great stay
Excellent experience Ross and staff very helpful. If you are lucky Ross will cook you the most amazing curry .Hotel is s lovely building being updated they are working hard and doing everything they can to make their customers comfortable and happy. We look forward to going again and catching up with progress and Ross .
We travelled as a couple with our two doggies and stayed for 1 night. We enjoyed our stay and our dogs were welcomed and only charged £5 per dog per night. The hotels location is great right next to shops, bars and restaurant less than 2 mins walk. The Queen Victoria was lovely for an evening meal with dogs. Whilst on our break we visited: Conwy town walls, local farm, happy valley gardens, war museum and smallest house in Britain. We parked up the road, plenty of free parking spaces nearby. Rooms were comfortable and clean and a delicious full English breakfast served in the morning. Thank you for our stay, will definitely return when in wales.
Ross on the front desk , really nice guy, carried our bags upstairs for us , nothing to much trouble for him,he is always around if you need anything. Our room was a bit dated but clean. Some of my family had a room at the front which was more modern with a nice outlook,104,we had a lovely breakfast,no complaints, would stay here again.Nice and warm as well.
Reasonably priced hotel very helpful and friendly staff rooms are very clean and comfortable excellent breakfast I would stay here again plenty to do in the area in walking distance of the parish church
We enjoyed a two night stay at the Broadway Hotel. The location is great, right on the main shopping street and around 100 yards away from the promenade. We had requested a parking space in the hotels car park, but when we turned up we were shown to park on the main road in some free parking spaces ( these are just next to the doctors surgeries parking spaces) we had no problem parking here the two days we were here, even moving the car in the day and returning in the evening. We received a friendly welcome for Ross at reception, who came out to show us where to park and helped carry our bags to the hotel. The room was very nice, a decent size for a double bed bedroom. With a table and two chairs, a desk, a tv with freeview and a wardrobe. The best was very comfortable and with plenty of pillows. The bathroom wasn’t the largest but clean. Although, only 1 of the 3 lights worked in the bathroom. If we were staying longer we would’ve mentioned it to reception but it was not a big problem for our stay. No problems with the temperature of the room, in fact, we had to turn the heating down as it lovely and warm on our arrival. We had a very pleasant stay and would stay at the Broadway hotel again the next time we are in the area.
This is a lovely hotel, the owner could not do enough for us including carrying our case to the room. The room was clean the bed was comfy and the bathroom was a good size with a bath and shower. The hotel is in a good location not far from the rail station shops and sea front. Would recommend this hotel very good value for money.
