The hotel was situated right on the ayer and had its own little private beach. We visited in November and although it was quite chilly we relished the sound and smell of the ocean and slept with the slider partially open at night to optimize our stay. Having our own private balcony with an ocean view was well worth the extra money. The hotel is beautiful, and well situated near many restaurants, many of them within walking distance. We loved going across the street to Mom’s Place for breakfast where we were greeted with a smile and were well cared for by Isla. Food was delicious and well priced. We were within walking distance of the Fisherman’s Memorial and a beautiful state park. We hope to make Gloucester a regular vacation spot and will be back at the Beaumont soon!

There is a loading dock next to the hotel where they load and unload trucks ALL night long. The walls are paper thin so you have to listen to your neighbors talk and walk. When we compained to the woman at the front desk, she laughed and said people complain about that all the time. Theres nothing we can do but try to do better next time. Next time? You're going to shut down the loading docks and sound proof your rooms next time? There wont be a next time! We did not sleep all night.

I would rate it excellent, but the rooms weren't as quiet as I had hoped. The service was excellent. We had an issue with the reservation, but they went above and beyond to correct it and they gave us free breakfast for both the days we were there. I think it's a bit over priced, but if you have the money and enjoy staying on the ocean, this is the place for you!

It's gorgeous! Our room was on the ocean side so we could watch all the events from there. Roof pool was a but crowded and pool is much smaller than you would think, but the water was nice after a goid day of shopping on Main St. Hot tub is small as well but still really nice.
Hotel was amazing! Check in your was great the pool and staff were wonderful. Our bartender Sean at the pool was beyond excellent.
We planned a quick weekend getaway with friends. All Staff was very friendly and always smiling. Dinner and breakfast were amazing. Room was so comfortable. Would definitely come back and recommend to everyone.
