I have stayed at this small hotel for 3 days mainly due to its proximity to our Conference center. Good things were: •The staff and the reception is extremely helpful and friendly , they are also quite fast in addressing the requests from Customers. Good job on that! • It is quite peaceful area, no noise during the night. • Restaurant is open till 21:30 and the food is nice. There are TV and mini fridge in rooms Some points I have seen room for improvement are: • Bathroom, there is no platform under the shower, and toilet is placed right next to shower. So the whole bathroom floor is soaked when you take a shower, • bathroom equipment is quite old -and some of the equipment was not specifically in a good condition, •the bed is Ok , but pillows actually are tiny
I stayed in hotel hillerod for 3 nights in July 2017 after a long stay of 40 days in January 2014 and I must confess there is a huge improvement especially in the washroom. The washrooms are cleaner and much more welcoming. Level of comfort in the room is low. Small duvet and curtains are light making the summer light seep right through to wake you up.
If you're looking for stylish décor, you probably need to look elsewhere. But this clean and convenient hotel serves a superb breakfast and is staffed by warm and genuinely helpful people. It's a short walk to the Phamakon or the industrial park if you're here on business, but also just an easy 20 minute walk to downtown. My colleagues chose to stay in Copenhagen to take advantage of the night life and the more upscale hotels, but they gave me a wistful look at day's end when I had a three-minute drive to my hotel, and they had nearly an hour to theirs. I tend to look for different things depending upon the nature of my trip: a personal touch is important at a B&B, while in a hotel chain the décor is important. When I travel on business, a convenient location, a warm welcome and a great breakfast are really important, and Hotel Hillerod delivers all three superbly. The restaurant downstairs is definitely worth it for dinner: even if I weren't staying at the hotel, I would definitely go there for dinner.
Hotel Hillderod provided a good base for a couple of days work. Based in what feels like an industrial park, it's a short distance from the centre of the town. It feels quite basic in structure, but the rooms are comfortable, there's a good restaurant, and the staff are extremely good. Breakfast works well, internet is freely available. My room was compact but had good chairs, a comfy bed, a small desk area and the best in room iron and fold out board I've ever used. Design details (small but clever touches) were evident in many places, adding an element of interest in amongst the general simplicity. I'll happily go there again.
The rooms are at a very good standard. The staff are friendly. The loction are very Close to the centre of the city and shopping centre. And it has a very old historic Castle With a enormos park whish borh I have visited several times. I stay here 2 times evry year for about the 10 last years. And they have a topp retaurant With topp skilled staff. They always welcome me
This hotel was perfectly pleasant. Clean, quiet, convenient, reasonably priced. Breakfast was more than adequate and staff were helpful. It is convenient to the bus stop and only one stop from the town.
This hotel was quite basic: the room was big enough, the bathroom was tiny, but there was outside space! The breakfast was minimal, not having any yogurt and a poor selection of other items. The saving grace was the dinner we had at the restaurant...it was fabulous!
This is more of a motel than an hotel. Situated in an industrial area of the city. All rooms are on the first floor with access to a picnic table outside. If you don't feel comfortable leaving your door or window open during the night, there is no air conditioning (and it was warm inside). Breakfast was very ordinary.
I stayed here on business last week. The hotel is quite basic if you're used to executive travel but it’s clean and the staff are just wonderful. I’ll be staying here again rather than have to travel to work from Copenhagen every day. The food in the restaurant was something else. I had a steak, probably one of the nicest steaks I’ve had! Look forward to returning in a few weeks.
I travel to this part of DK a lot and have tried various hotels - most of which are great for one or two nights. As I spend at least five days most visits I prefer a few home comforts such as kettle and a fridge - which most no longer provide. Hotel Hillerod has this covered and even includes a small kitchen area. All the rooms are ground floor and outdoor seating. Downside was the heat: the rooms were very warm so being able to open the patio door was very useful.
