The pics looked great on the internet, but there were holes & stains in the bedspread. They had used a type of glue to hang pictures that had dripped down the walls & they let it dry without wiping the excess glue. The black office chair was pealing away at the seams & our coffee machine came without a pot. The hot tub was lukewarm. It was peak season so we overpaid for a dumpy hotel. I've stayed in several Days Inn that were clean & never had problems-we were disappointed. It wouldn't take much to fix it up-fresh paint, wash the bedspreads, replace beaten up items & clean the carpets. I would NOT recommend staying here.

This hotel is operated by a family that takes pride in their business. They are helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Prices were higher than I would have expected for an older hotel (price could have been higher because there was a festival going on), but the personal touch provided by the family made it seem like a nice B&B. I would stay here again.

Very disappointed! Hot tub wasn't even hot, bathroom toilet in my room looked like it wasn't cleaned. The tv volume was super quiet and I had it up all the way. I'm just not happy with my stay. That was my first and last time at a days inn!

arrived late - comfy room - met our needs and the kids could swim

Non-flashy but great place to crash. Would come here again!

I'll just talk about the coffee maker and other coffee stuff because there isn't enough room for everything else. The coffee maker was dirty inside - dust, stuck coffee grounds, and the entire inside was crusted with calcium deposits. I had driven 11 hours that day, so decided I would just get up in the morning and go get some at breakfast. I started to get coffee and it was water and a pale liquid coming out. I figured the coffee was out and told the manager the coffee was out. He came in, opened the coffee machine and squished the carton with coffee. The stuff that came out was the same as before. I said it looked like tea water and could he put in a new carton. That was when he started yelling at me. He said it wasn't tea and that I was wrong. I told him I hadn't said it was tea, just looked like tea water. He started yelling even louder and stabbing at the machine saying it was coffee and it was ready. He continued to yell at me for several minutes, there were other people in the breakfast area. I finally asked him about customer service and treating customers with respect. He didn't yell quite so loud after that. I had also explained about the coffee maker in the room and he said I was wrong, but I got a new one, it had only a little bit of calcium deposits and no dust or stuck coffee grounds. I had one cup for the road. The breakfast was several packets of instant oatmeal, some stale breakfast rolls, white bread, and black bananas. I was going to have a breakfast roll when I noticed ants crawling around on the counter. I decided I didn't really need a shower. I have only stayed at one motel that was worse that this place. I wouldn't even recommend this place to someone I didn't like.

I found the room plain and in need of renovation, however it was clean and quiet.

I thought the room was plain, showed wear, but was clean and quiet. Location is great for what it is.... A place to stay off the highway.

An older hotel in need of maintenance and a face-lift. Small clean rooms were 'okay'. Breakfast was meager and served in what appears to be an old hallway or janitor's closet. Very limited seating. Pool and hot tub were the best part of the stay. Both were clean, set at a good temperature and well maintained.

The North Platte NE Days Inn was a very good value. The room was quite reasonable. However; there were no in hotel restaurants. The room was clean however; the blankets had holes. The hotel room door was very difficult to shut and lock. The hotel had a pool however; it was not heated. We were unsure if the heater was broken but; the water temperature was so cold is made it impossible to swim. The hot tub was out of order. The front desk clerk was inexperienced.

I have used Day Inn quite frequently, this one was the first at this location. The coat hanger had been pulled out of the wall and no attention had been given to it. The towels have been used for a million years, what should have been white was actually off grey. The check in was personable, but the balance of the stay was regretable. The continental breakfast was extemely ememic.
