Jose, Estefan, Mario at the bar were so friendly. The front desk and tour desk did an outstanding job. Our room staff made our room beautiful every day. Mahao to all I don't remember their names.Great buffet staff. Always trying to shoo those blackbirds yet keeping the coffee hot. Great job all around and so want to start planning our next stay. Will definitely let everyone we know about Hotel Tamarindo Diria

staff very attentive and friendly, close to good food and shopping

Great weekend in a tropical paradise. Breakfast buffet was excellent? Very nice room. Great grounds for hotel.

The hotel is right on the beach with immaculate grounds. You can lay on your chair on the grass or on the beach. The beach ones are a 5 dollar rental charge as they are not associated with the hotel. The hotel is right next to the best surfing spot in the area. The tides change throughout the day giving you different heights of waves to choose from. Great for inexperienced surfers and 6 foot waves and above depending on the time of the month for the experienced surfer.

Perfect beach, pools, restaurants. In the middle of town, you can walk to shops, pharmacies, restaurants and surf shops. They have a man to stop traffic in the street so you can cross without a problem. Good breakfast. They are always cleaning the grounds & public areas.

This hotel is in the center of town. Everything is in walking distance.

Wonderful resort. A little pricey. The staff were mostly friendly

The employees were trying to knock howler monkeys out of the trees and shooting them w a sling shot. There were baby monkeys as well. I find this so off putting considering this is why people visit Costa Rica and expect to share their habitat.

Great hotel but not the most accessible for disabled. No ramps between lobby (breakfast restaurant) and handicap accessible room.

First three nights were terrible. Our room Smelled like sewage. On the fourth day, the hotel moved us to the room type we reserved, two queens and away from the toilet return plumbing.

This was my 4th stay at this hotel. Love the atmosphere and safety as I have 3 young grandchildren.

Bad experience staying at the Diria. We traveled around the beautiful country of Costa Rica staying at several great b&bs, a small hotel and even had our own beach bungalow for several nights eating great food and getting to know the wonderful people. The Diria is nice and all but its so crowded with tourists and not relaxing or authentic at all and our costs were about double any place else we stayed! The room was so small! We paid more and got so much less. It did not take long to decided we did not like the Diria and changed our plans a few hours after check in. Not worth it, so many beautiful places to stay elsewhere off the beaten track.

The bed was very uncomfortable. The room smelled like fabulous which I did not like..very overpowering! Their breakfast buffet does need more variety...

Very much enjoyed our stay. Rooms, staff, food and location were all excellent

The location and the grounds of the hotel are absolutely stunning. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Not super fancy but worth every dollar for the price they charge and includes a yummy solid breakfast. Massages 50 feet from the beach for 40 USD an hour is also super nice. Overall it's a great spot to relax, surf, chow and cervezas are ice cold

Excellent experience! Everything from the staff, to the food, the location, to the cleanliness of the hotel was great! The staff at the 'Tour Desk' we're really helpful, particularly Bryan who gave us excellent recommendations of where to eat around the area, and recommended the most popular tours. Will definitely return next year !

Enjoyed my stay. Would go back food good. Great location nice beach

Diria Beach hotel is in a prime location. It is located directly on the beach and walking distance from all the restaurants and nightlife. Very large with a resort feel to it. Nearby are tons of beachfront restaurants, nightlife (Aqua Discotechque), and gift shops. The hotel itself has so many different pools including a wetbar and many of their own restaurants. Wifi was okay.

DESPITE MISSING THE FIRST TWO DAYS OF A THREE DAY WEEKEND, I ENJOYED THE SHORT TIME AT THE HOTEL. MY COMPANION, HOWEVER, WAS VERY IMPRESSED BY THE STAFF, THE ROOM VIEW, AND THE BREAKFAST BUFFET. I WILL KEEP THIS LOCATION ON MY RETURN LIST.

Absolutely love Costa Rica - Pura Vida! This hotel was wonderful... great location, friendly, helpful staff, great food, beautiful beach with lots of activities or just simply relax at our favorite pool - The Garden Pool with swim up bar. Have a massage in the garden. Sign up with the tour desk for various tour options - we recommend the Palo Verde Safari Boat Tour to see monkeys, crocodiles, giant grasshoppers, Iquanas. And Hacienda Guachipelin for a full, fun day of activities ...zip tracking, horseback riding, tubing down the river, a delicious lunch and relaxing mud bath in natural hot springs to end a perfect day! Both only about 2 hours away from resort. We were lucky to have Viktor the hotel tour guide on both tours - hopefully you will be fortunate to get him on your tours too. For the absolute best dining experience go to the Flying Bull... Dinia our waitress was outstanding - she went above and beyond to make my husband's 50th birthday dinner exceptional and the food was to die for! An extra special thank you to Viktor and Dinia for making our first time to Costa Rica extraordinary! We will be back!
