Hilton Garden Inn Liberia Airport

The service was great. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. The convenience of the location from the airport makes it a great option while in Liberia.

The rooms were very clean and new looking, and felt like any decent hotel in the US. The pool area was nice, but the main attraction was the proximity to Liberia airport. The shuttle is free, and only about a five minute ride, if even that. There is no more checking in for your flight, or paying the departure tax, at the hotel. It all has to be done at the airport, but that was all quick and easy, the airport being so small. My only complaint would be the restaurant food, which is pricey, and with very small portions. The salads, at around 10 or 12 dollars, look like side salads. The club sandwiches were of good size though. My daughter ordered apple pie for dessert, and the pie was about three inches across, and was dwarfed by the small scoop of ice cream. The brownie is a lot bigger. They do have a happy hour, which offers two for one house wine and draft beer. That runs from 5 to 7 pm. If you don't have a car, you're stuck eating at the hotel. You can have pizza delivered from Papa John's, and the staff will help with that. Great, happy, helpful hotel staff. I'll stay here again for sure if I arrive late, or have an early flight. Great views from the upper floors by the way. I would request the fifth floor if you want the best view.

Restroom wreaked of mildew! Had to close the door to limit the smell.

Our family stayed here to be closer to the airport the last night before an early flight. Hotel staff was great, typical hotel, clean, room, and nice clean pool.

We had a wonderful stay here! The staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel was beautiful and smelled like coconuts! The pool was also beautiful and surrounded by palm trees and nice areas to lounge. We had our first Costa Rican meal here and it was delicious!

Stayed here just one night before an early flight out. Good pool. Dinner was good. Primary complaint is that we ordered breakfasts to go since we had to leave before the kitchen opened. For $10 per person, I would hope they would have actually packed what we ordered. Also, having double beds instead of queens is a drawback.

We were outside by the pool and the staff came out 4 times to serve the clients in the shade by not the clients in the sun. I finally went to the bar and asked if they serve the clients around the pool, they said we will be there shortly, it took 12 minutes........ there was one person sitting at the bar and no one else in the bar or restaurant, 2 staff only.

Great staff, friendly, well trained and efficient, We were only here for one night, but it was perfect for us

$12.00 for a $3.00 hamburger, $8.00 ice cream bar. Really!!! Oh forgot about the $6.00 coke, yow....stay there, bring a lunch.. ....

We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. Definitely a newer hotel with a very nice pool area. The restaurant was nice. We had lunch and dinner there and the food was quality. The service was a bit slow but we were on vacation so we didn't mind. Shuttle service was easy, as was check in. We would definitely stay here again.

Good place to stay for those early morning flights.

Perfect for one night when flying in/out of Liberia. Feels just like any other Hilton around the world. We were pleasantly surprised by the nice outdoor pool and quality of the restaurant.

Hotel is ok. Need blower in bathroom, get steamy and hot.

They were overbooked and did not honor our reservation made months ago (we arrived around 10pm). They did provide us good alternative accommodation but it was not convenient for our needs. Staff seemed friendly. But overbooking seems unacceptable to me

The staff at this hotel is the reason we keep coming back any time we travel through Liberia, Costa Rica. They go above and beyond every time for us and their attention to the guests needs surpasses expectations. We highly recommend the Hilton Garden Inn Liberia.

We arrived close to 10pm in the evening. The check was fast and desk staff were friendly. The overall experience was good, even though we felt it was a little overpriced. The room was spacious and even though we could see the airport from our window, and the busy highway running parallel to it, there was never any problem with noise from planes or traffic. There are many channels, mostly in Spanish though. My husband and I prefer firm beds, but we had a too soft bed for our liking, not sure if all the beds are this way. We didn't make use of the restaurant as we wanted to try some of the local places in town.

Good hotel, but restaurant is nice, but food not that good.. takes forever

This hotel is next to Liberia international airport and they provide a free shuttle to and from the airport. Very convenient and clean. The food is quite expensive and mediocre.

The shuttle driver took us a few minutes away to an ice cream shop. It was pouring rain and he waited for us and took us back to the hotel. Our grandkids were so tickled! Even our waitress in the restaurant was very welcoming!

I went there with the expectation of a nice night before heading back home, but there was no water and they refused to give me refund.
