this was by far the worst hotel I HAVE EVER STAYED AT. WARNING TO ANYONE THINKING OF STAYING HERE The staff including the manager of the property is nothing bur liars they are lazy and if you try to get best western to try and help you resolve your differences they just refer you back to the hotel. SO IT SEEMS YOU GET NO HELP WHAT SO EVER.. STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK BUT I PROMISE YOU WILL BE SORRY YOU DID.

A well located but run down hotel. Rooms are clean and functional. Staff was helpful. Pool and restaurant were not inviting.

This was just what I was looking for. Not too expensive, only 12km from the airport and walking distance into Liberia. Rooms and furniture seem old but clean and the pool area and grounds are well maintained. Certainly would return and/or recommend this hotel to others

I chose this hotel for its LOCATION for my TICA BUS ride the following day. I've stayed here once before. When I first went to my room it stunk of smoke. It was supposedly a NON smoking room and it wasn't cleaned from the previous guest. I went back to the front desk and eventually got a new room. The new room was on the street side and the club across the room played music very late and I had a hard time sleeping due to the music. The pool and area needed some SERIOUS work. There is NO CASINO as the property name says. Staff tries very hard and did a good job.

Very Nice hotel with spacious hallways and pool area.

We expected better quality and cleanliness for the price and location of the hotel. The beds were worn out.

worst nightmare.wouldn't recommend.manager was good .heard our complaint.

Simple hotel, nothing special, a little bit worn out, though. We stayed for one night only after a long flight to Liberia. The hotel is close enough to the airport and for the price we paid it was ok.

Location is great if you have an early flight out of Liberia . The breakfast is the usual Tico style but nice that it is included in the price of the room. Problem I had was the air conditioner did not work. Not a big deal because it we not hot out. But the real problem was the fan. It was either the fan AND light on or both off. I could not turn the fan on in the night when it got warm without the light turning on with it! Would recommend only for a 1 or 2 night stay to get to the airport in the morning.

Nice and close to the airport, good value for money

I arrived late , the staff were still awake and helped me get settled quickly. the location is ok on the edge of town, with grocery stores, restaurents still open and I did not hear any excess noise from the street or the casino

It was a great place to stay close to the airport.

Check in occurred without a glitch; friendly enough staff; room was simple, but clean; quiet after 11pm; appreciated the ceiling fan; breakfast was very tasty and enjoyable; we had a lovely walk after breakfast, saw some beautiful birds and iguanas, the pools were lovely, great location

location close to a disco or bar which means it was extremely loud all night until at least 3am Ther room was OK but there was a bad smell, the linnens were not large enough for the beds, not enough towels, breakfast was real lousy (rice, beans, eggs but no bacon or saussages, no butter only margarine etc. - would not return there

I needed an inexpensive room for a night in Liberia in the town and easy distance from the airport. Best Western El Sitio was perfect - a $20 cab ride from the airport, a spacious and breezy room and a sustaining breakfast. Very adequate.

The AC didn't work, the hallway and our room was soaking with water. People were not quick to help and instead we got no service. They didn't have our reservation which caused an hour wait in the lobby. The bar was nice. The casino was closed and boarded up. We moved to El Punto at Casa Verde (can be found on a hostel website) which was beautiful, about a 100 yards away, and they were very helpful.

Hotel is fine for catching a bus or flight from Liberia out. Liberia is not that exciting city so just 1 night is fine. Don't expect Best Western that you see in US or Europe. But room is ok and pool is nice.
