For a hotel at the beach with very few options, this hotel worked out fine. Nice staff, quiet rooms, lots of grass behind hotel for dogs to pee (however the owner at the fish and chips cart not even in the grassy area near the hotel yelled at me when i let my dogs pee there. I was far away from him and close to the hotel), this hotel was otherwise perfectly fine for what we needed. I did ask the front desk where was a good place to eat, and she said there was only 3 places, and this is not true. I was a little disgruntled with the maid who was smoking in the door way of a room she was cleaning, right in front of the" no smoking within 10 feet of this door" sign, mostly because i had to walk right into her smoke to get to my room. Continental breakfast is nothing fantastic, but i was just happy to find a decent, reasonably priced place to bring me dogs with.

Older motel, really needs freshening up! Beds very uncomfortable, room smelled like wet dog.

Mostly clean...cigerette area a bit too close to our room with smelly ashtrays but the steam powered train behind us was a plus! As i didnt expect many things past clean with a decent bed i was happy with my choice.

The room was quiet and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised to have yoghurt at the breakfast along with muffins, juice, and hot drinks.

Office staff was great and wonderful. The motel is showing some age. The shower I could have stayed in all day. I felt like a salmon swimming up stream! But a cute little place. :-)

nice staff, clean room and a quiet place to get away. fishing and crabbing within walking distance. local cafes open early great mom and pop bakery just a block up the street.

housekeepers and other staff were very good. hotel was in very bad shape - many repairs needed. hotel very run-down. laundry not working, soda machine not working properly. no trays to carry breakfast to room. smoking directly outside of rooms

We didn't spend much time in the room basically just slept there. The room we reserved had a referigerator and a microwave which was nice. The bed was very springy which I didn't like, but other than that everything was great!

Location is good. It is just on the 101 highway. Room is clean. The breakfast is supplied at the reception, we have to take the food back to room.

The stay was nice but you can hear the train everytime it goes by. No view. Beaches near there are just swamps. and its close to nothing. Big gap in front door. If I wanted something other then the coffee shop across the way I had to drive 13 miles to nearest grocery store. Flew all the way cross country and had to drive 2 hours and couldn't check in early to rest.

we found this on a Saturday eve, booked it, checked in about an hour later! we ate at a little restaurant rite across the parking lot! we both highly recommend both Motel & Restaurant

The unit is well maintained. The staff is helpful. The bed was comfortable enough. There is a decent restaurant across the parking lot.

We wanted an inexpensive one-day getaway and got it in Garibaldi. Our stay was way off season (December) and the town was deserted. The hotel managers were very friendly and helpful. They recommended a walk at the marina, and the beach there was deserted. The room was clean and had a fridge and microwave.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was great. Rooms were clean, even in the corners. I had asked for a bottom floor and had it. Our dog was with us and the fee was ony $10.00 each night. The resturant recommended had good food and service. We would use the motel again if traveling in the area.

Staff at check-in and morning was great. Room was modest and clean.

They need to get new mattresses there, otherwise, it's fine!

My grandkids and I had a great stay here. The staff was very friendly and the room was great. We were close enough to Tillamook to take in the sites, including the cheese factory and the air museum. Garibaldi has a peaceful, out of the way feel that was very relaxing. The only thing that would have made the visit better would have been a pool - but we compensated by going to the beach. I would definitely stay there again.

[...]. Convenient for car travelers and reasonable price. Accommodations are just basic. Sign in room gives rules for cooking and cleaning shellfish in the room. Lots of fishing trip guests, I imagine.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. We were there for just a get away. I liked the locatioin. It was just out of the way enough to have quiet, but close enough to be able to go to the bigger coastal towns.

Overall, the stay at the Econo-Lodge was very nice. The staff where very friendly. I would only add that a room over the office isn't a great idea as you can hear all the other occupants as they come in and out for the free breakfast.
