First: plastic was on the floor when I entered the room. It was apparent that they had recently painted the door, but failed to pick up the plastic after it dried. Second: room was somewhat clean. Shower curtain has holes in it. Lighting was inadequate and fridge would not shut completely. Lastly: hotel staff entered my room three times prior to check out (noon). First time they knocked at 10:30am and entered. They quickly left. I was trying to catch a little more sleep before leaving. After that, I decided to take a shower. While in the shower, they entered again, approximately 11am. They took the plastic from the door and I think they were startled that they heard the shower running (there was a man and a woman). The third time, I was attempting to send an email prior to checking out, at approximately 11:45am. Door is opened by housekeeping and she walks in. She jumps when she sees me and immediately leaves. I left immediately after that.

Terrible motel. Cigarette burns in blankets and sheets. Dirty rooms.

I did not stay there. The room smelled like cigarettes and perfume. The door molding with chain was falling off. It is in my opinion a very delapidated establishment.

The staff ese corteous and helpfull. This is an older hotel. Very comfortable beds. The fiscal building has been kept up but at least in our room, the bed sheets needed upgrading. Can't beat the price. Able to rest with no issues.

After a five hour flight, we got to the hotel and immediately fell asleep. Thirty minutes later we woke up to bed bugs bite all over our body. My son got it worst and had it all over his leg. Do yourself a favor and stay away! It is not worth it!

Stayed one night. Construction, night shift tried to enter my room by mistake. Noise theoughout the night. Spiders in corner of bathroom. Beetle in the fridge. The room was not ready for me to stay in.

Very dirty and dingy! Will no go there again Very cheap

The hotel itself wasn't the prettiest from the outside. My room was clean & the heating system worked excellent. cleaning services were very consistent and I always had extra clean towels. The bed was a little firm and there was one broken drawer, but for the price I'd say it was a great stay. I didn't see a single bug or ant in my whole week stay so that's a good sign

Although the staff was great there were some issues with the appearance of the restroom and some areas that needed minor repairs. But for the price it was a good choice.

We arrived Thursday at 530 pm, one person was ahead of us and check in still took 20 min. We were not given the room we booked but were given one on first floor so it was easier for my father to get into. The door stuck on initial entry to the room, the room itself was pretty small with 2 double beds, a table 3 chairs, dresser, desk, and nightstand and a27 inch tube TV. I took my own coffee maker because I had read reviews prior to going (but not prior to booking, I should have) , the fridge was not even plugged in so that took a while to cool once I plugged it in. The room was at least cool and didn't stink, yet.......One of the staff was in the room next to us messing with a drain so I was worried we would have problems with ours as well, but we didn't. We left and went to dinner. When we got back and opened the door all you could smell was sewer gas. We had to leave the door open and fan on in bathroom for hours to get rid of the odor, they had no other rooms. The bathroom was small, you would get in your own way trying to turn around. The floors were sticky. Behind all the furniture hadn't been swept in weeks. There was paint and mildew on everything. Not a great place. The continental breakfast was a joke consisting a small amount of cereal and stale pastries. The Navy recruits are not supposed to be there or the restaurant ( Flanagan's)that is adjacent to the motel. The only way I would stay there is if that was the only place I could find and only overnight one night.

The door sticks, hard to open. Smell so bad with smoke, even though it says no smoking room. No hangers to hang your clothes, the sink doesn't drain. We called the front desk about the these problem, but nothing happen so instead of staying another night, we checked out the next day. My daughter was scared to take a shower in that place. Not a good feeling to be scared staying in your room.

We did not know a lot about the Hotel but turned out to be great. Is close to Navy Boot camp. Will stay again>>>

We were in Great Lakes for our son's graduation from Navy Recruit Training. Discovered upon arrival that the Navy discourages Recruits from being on this property due to its reputation for drugs and prostitution. Needless to say, we checked out of this dump and found a nice motel nearby.

The hotel served it purpose. It is very close to the Navel base. Continental breakfast was nice. I would recommend it based solely on location.

I knew not to expect much for $50 a night. It seriously! The first room looked like it was still lived in. Dirty towels were hanging on the cloths hangers, mold was everywhere in the shower and for a non smoking room it smelled like a full ashtray. After not excepting to have the cleaning crew to fix the room I was given another. The new room had huge (what looked like human) stains on the sheets but was a bit better.

Close to everything but room sink was clogged and they only cleaned room one time but other then that all ok

It wasnt bad the staff was doing some renovating but it didn't bother me nor could I hear it. The hotel was cheap and very close to the etc at great lakes and there's a car rental place right next to it so if your not interested in the shuttle or taxi which I paid $200 out of pocket to go around you could save more at a rental it was a good experience

The room was average but you could hear every move the people upstairs made. This made it a non-sleep night. there also seem to be quite a bit of noise outside during the night.

Ok if you have a tight budget and just want to find a place to sleep
