Room wasn’t ready till after 6:00 and toilet was clogged and took 4 different people to finally come fix it 4 hours later
It was very nice hotel better than what I was expecting, very close walk to the coliseum which was even better after driving two hours with family to see monster jam at the coliseum and only a walking distance to our room.
Breakfast was excellent and better than most.
The staff was very nice, the drinks and breakfast were appreciated. The building needs some updating.

Big hotel with huge 9-story interior hall and glass elevators, a bit older but well kept, great breakfast.
The room stink like a wet animal. Staff was very rude. Th hotel had to alter my accommodation.
I enjoyed the location and the breakfast. The rooms have a smell when you enter the room. Not sure if it's in the carpets or where it comes from. The walls are very thin. I could listen to the conversations of those in the room next door and the hallways. Request to stay away from the elevator. We had a roach in our room. We trapped it in a cup and left that as our tip for housekeeping. The manager comped us half a night's fee.
The Embassy Suites made our stay in Charleston perfectly comfortable and safe. We were very happy with the accommodations and amenities.
I really liked the breakfast buffet and complimentary snacks in the evening.
Place is run down. Rooms probably 10 years outside it’s last renovation. Bathroom was full of mold. TV was was undersized. Couch was completely flat and springs were dead. Everything was tired.
If you want a good night to you and your family, this is the right place..
