No fridge, no breakfast, weird shades, weord little ice bucket- have to go to front desk for ice, sour creamers, coffeemaker leaked everywhere, weird layout of room with nowhere to put towels, cracked mirror, long wait at desk… would not recommend. It is walkable to convention center, tho… the only good thing.
Staff was nice. Love it being pet friendly. Few issue with room so theg move to another room right away. Which is great customer service. The place needs some patching up, its an older property. But if u keep up some of the cracks and holes then u maintain the property for longevity. Overall nice place. I would stay again for location as well

front desk attendants where all very pleasant and accomodating . Thank you for being so nice , loved that is dog friendly and no fee, and loved the dry bar shampoo and conditioner etc. Comfortable bed , very safe and upscale area with a great stores 3 mins away and reataurants

Stopped here for a night in the middle of driving from Florida to New York. The room was okay, clean, but slightly outdated. Shower could have had some stronger water pressure but other than that, check in and out was extremely painless, there was plenty of parking, and the highlight was no pet fee for my pup who was along for the trip.
We notice termites in our room after the first night and they moved us to another room. I'm not sure if the company is relax with the dress code for the reception but coming to work in basketball shorts doesn't look good (night shift) The bar not being open on Sunday night was not good. Guest smoking Marijuana on the 5th floor.
No surprises here, you get what you're paying for. Clean room, strong facilities, and a super friendly staff.
My stay at Aloft was great. I will recommend this place to family and friends. The rates was good, the staff was friendly, the room and the place itself was clean. They had games and indoor pool for all ages.
I loved the location and the ease of shopping. Wish I could have stayed longer.
We were close to the shopping mall. At night I found that I could here all of the other occupied rooms. There was also an issue with children running, playing and making a lot of noise in the hall.
Hotel in need of repair and updating rooms. Pillows were flat. Handle for shower broke off. Refrigerator operates but is not cold (your food will spoil). I have stayed here twice I won’t be staying again.
Staff were very nice! The location is perfect for visiting downtown Charleston, any of the beaches (Folly beach, Sullivan’s island), and the plantations as it’s all within reasonable travel time. There’s numerous stores, gas stations and restaurants nearby is was ideal too. During my stay the only issues I came across was how loud the planes arriving and departing the airport were but again it’s really close by so understandable. The walls are thin but to be fair there was a lot of kids so it didn’t bother me too much.
