great stop except two issues: 1) hot water was just warm water at 8pm .. disappointing but adequate 2) luggage cart was missing fastener on top rail allowing it to separate from frame. Good news - luggage cart available. Should be fixed: obvious maintenance issue, so easily fixed, but not. Property is otherwise great and half the price of newer facility across the interstate. Great location. So much potential.

The staff that was working in the morning was rude and the lady that works in the breakfast area was being rude to everyone telling them how to fix there breakfast and also telling them what to do and she would do it. I'll never stay there again worst hotel experience I've ever had.

My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel after dropping off one of our children at college. We were exhausted when we arrived and were grateful for the quiet location of this building. When I went to check in at the desk there was a sign stating the desk person would return soon which he did. He was polite, but not anything beyond that. I never saw anyone at that desk the entire time I was at the hotel--only the sign which said someone would be back soon. Our room was clean and quiet. The bed was quite uncomfortable. It had five very small pillows and a pad which we think was supposed to cover up the fact that it felt like springs were poking you when you slept. The covers on the bed were not adequately warm. The bathroom door, which was a pocket door separating the shower/toilet from the sink area, would not close all the way. The shower door creaked and made a horrible sound which woke up my husband in the morning. We missed breakfast, so I can't give that a rating. The question: Would we stay here again? Although we enjoyed the quietness of the room, I would have to say most likely not. The discomfort of the room outweighed the quietness factor.

I'm sorry for your unsatisfactory experience. Unfortunately, hotels are now allowing guests to "cook" certain self serve items. In many cases, we have to instruct the guests on how to prepare the food. Moreover, we have a very strict local policy that requires guests to use sanitary tongs to retrieve items. I will pass along your observations to my staff. Thank you for the insight and we hope you change your mind.
