Lot of older people , BUT they where not a problem
Check in was easy but the girl got attitude when I asked questions. Also was suppose to be a Anniversary surprise for my wife but ended up not being what I expected and wanted because they missed up our reservation. Definitely don't recommend if you have kids under 21 as they can't be any of the common areas and you have to go next store to swim and parking is far if you self park. On the plus side the view is amazing and has a big tub that we enjoyed.
This was our 2nd visit to Oceanaire. I'm concerned that the bed was labled queen, it was more like an oversized full...
No room service, no resturant, not even coffee and donuts in lobby
We checked in quickly, and parked a short block away in their parking garage. The parking was included in a 20 dollar resort fee. The room was well decorated and felt like home. It was clean and spacious. I loved the views of the beach from our bedroom and front room windows.
We booked one night in this hotel, and upon our arrival, the check-in staff were very unprofessional and flirty. After check-in they asked us to go to the concierge desk for "welcome package". At the concierge desk, 3 people were trying to sell us their "timeshare package", which we refused about 10 times until they let us go. Once we arrived in the spacious room with the kitchenette and amenities, we loved it so much that we went down and asked "can we extend for one night?". The response was "no we are fully booked". We returned upstairs and extended our stay online (which we used to book originally) and then got ready to go our for dinner, got back down, told the staff that we extended it for one night, to which they responded "ok" but were not very pleased. The next morning we headed out and did out stuff, returned about 2 PM to realize that our keycards don't work. Back down to the front desk, asking what's happened? They told us that we should bring our stuff back down, check out, and check in again! To which I personally insisted "no way". They eventually checked us back into the new room, which was the exact same room just one floor above, and had us move all our stuff to the new room and come back down to check out the old room in a hurry. We left our electric toothbrushes in the old unit, and I was wondering "why move us to the new exact room, just move the new guest to that room instead!" Eventually we figured out that room was owned by timeshare.
We stayed over Christmas which meant they were not fully staffed on Christmas Eve and Day , but the staff available were very warm and welcoming
Beautiful hotel but lacks basic things like room service, continental breakfast, and the room had no information book. Usually hotels have books filled with check out information, wifi, schedules for pool/fitness center, etc. but this room had nothing. The shower and sink took about twenty minutes to obtain warm water as well. Clean and updated though.
The suites are great. Valet parking is affordable. Overall a nice experience. We were pleasantly surprised
The hotel was fully(maybe over?) booked when we had our vacation so my experience would have been different if the hotel was not that crowded. The location is unbeatable and the facilities were really good and our room & bed was clean and comfortable. However, the pools were dirty, they charge this daily resort fee which doesn't include umbrellas etc. at the beach but does include the wifi. The wifi didn't work once during my vacation. We had to wait a long queue during check-in and whenever we tried to use the elevators. I feel like I should have received better service for the money we paid for this hotel.
Everything so small. Stripped of basic necessities. No water, coffee offered. Rooms are small and uncomfortable. Don't waste your time trying to book it.
Nicely laid out establishment without those cheap beachy colors of seafoam green and seashells splattered throughout. Professional staff at all levels that one comes to appreciate in life.
Love this place and everything about it!!! The kitchenette had everything including a blender. Great beds, pillows, large TV...I could go on and on, but the adult pool and spa more than pleased me, strong jets, hot water. And 3 heated pools. I definitely hope to teturn.
Very nicely styled oceanfront hotel. Staff was excellent.
Over the experience was wonderful, and I loved being there in mid-October. My only concern: I was booked for two nights, and housekeeping never came in to tidy up my room and provide fresh towels on day two. Maybe because it's off season, you were short-staffed? Thanks,
We enjoyed out stay here. We were only in town for a few days for a wedding but the hotel was great and we enjoyed the martini bar. All of the staff were friendly and helpful as we had not visited the area before. Would definitely stay here again. It was too cold to enjoy the balcony for long but the view was amazing. Only drawback was a faulty fire alarm that went off twice on our first morning there.
great room, was small but definitely worth it. The view was very nice, no restaurant in the hotel but a quick hop across the street.
We were there during frigid January, and this hotel had an indoor heated pool as well as a hot tub (designated just for adults), which was perfect for a winter respite. The gym had panoramic views of the beach, but it was a bit of an inconvenience to get to since it was situated in another building. The concierge Michelle was very accommodating. She suggested a visit to the Aquarium, which was fun and informative and recommended a fabulous place for all-you-can-eat seafood. We would definitely stay there again.
This was not the first time staying here. The room and everything else about it if great. Just ask that all the staff at the front desk and the valet are professional to everyone and not who they want to be.
I was very impress with my waterfront room. It felt like I was at home Plus I was there to meet my college sweetheart after 27 years this was a awesome first impression.
