When I arrived I was told that the reservation had been canceled. I had not canceled the reservation. They offered the same room to us at an ADDITIONAL $200/night. I declined and we drove 3 hours home.
I am an honest person. I made my reservation at the last minute. Steve worked with me on resolving my situation and we had a good stay, he offered advice on good food, the room was clean and neat, everything worked, and I enjoyed the extras. Even good soap, good towels, and just a block from the beach ! The Boardwalk is great, there was a jazz band at the stage, and a convenience store close enough to be convenient. The lot next door is a parking lot, so no neighbors is even better, to me, other than the other guests at Ocean Cove. I liked it, my family was well rested, great hot water, and found a Japanese Buffet just over off Lynnhaven Rd. So, my stay was excellent !
