Staff was wonderful and the property was conveniently located.
we choose to stay here because of the kiddie pool and the fact that they had laundry capabilities. only to find out its one washer and dryer on every other floor and half of those were broke. Then 2 of the 4 elevators were broken and they let people smoke right outside then hotel door so when your are unloading and loading your car its the worst. for all the money you spend to stay here these things really took away from the experience.
The staff worked overtime to keep residents safe during Hurricane Ian. On the down side, the tub/shower in the room is not very elder friendly. Very high step in sides and slippery bottom with no hand holds on the walls.
Fabulous beachfront location and amenities. Loved the suite set-up. Furniture and decor in rooms and halls are showing their age and could use a refresh.

Overall, very nice place in terms of location and overall property --great pools for adults and kids! Only thing I'd say is that the rooms are outdated/old furniture and not entirely clean. Good spaciousness and overall can't beat the price/comfort for the area.

The overall stay was nice. The only thing that could use improvement is the daily cleaning. Due to covid we only could have things sent up to us. They could have at least warned us this was the case.
Resort was outdated, definitely needs some upgrades. Staff was friendly.
We found roaches in our room. We were given a new room however there was miscommunication in moving to the other room in which cleaning staff called resort security because they believed we did not check out that day. Both security and cleaning staff waited in hall until I left room. This all happened within the hour I reported the roaches and got new room. I spoke with front desk to let the know the situation but did not an apology and they tried to justify it by stating it was a computer error that showed room was vacant before I had enough time to gather my things to move to new room.
I thought Virginia Beach was awesome and that the property resort and the access around the resort was very accessible and easy to get to. You can grab a bike and go. It was awesome. What I didn't too much like about the property was the room itself. At first I didn't know that some of the rooms came with a balcony and some didn't we had to fight to get a balcony. Also, I found out that the studio rooms did not have a full kitchen so we had to make due without one. Also as me and my husband sat on the balcony trying to have a nice day a kid was able to open up a hole on the balcony and spit chewed up food on us!!!!! It was soo discussing and disrespectful. We had to call the the front desk so that security could go and handle the situation. I would not be back at this resort. I might try others first. But I will be back at Virginia Beach. I wondered if I would have had a better room would my experience would have been better? Maybe.

Thank you for the survey and for letting us know about your stay. I am sorry that the laundry and elevators were broken during your stay. I am not sure what happened with the laundry machines, but there were issues with the elevators that were out of our control. 2 weekends in a row we had elevators out of service because the required parts were not available to make repairs. In the past, parts were in stock and available for immediate repair, but this time they had to be shipped and were not available until Monday. It was a major inconvenience for our guests and I am sorry that we were not able to make the repairs immediately during your stay.
