The pictures are all false what year did they take the picture the inside smells like cigarette smoke and urine. I went to look at the room and the beds were made up nice , but the linen was dirty and smelled. It smelled like people had just had sex and douched then left the room closed up. The entry door reminds you old Las Vegas, Motel 6 8 to 12 dollar hotels off the strip. There were women walking around like strippers and men were hanging out the windows. Parking was horrible old beat up with potholes in it. Nowhere to turn around and leave the parking dump. Just yuk!!!

This hotel was definitely not worth what we paid for the weekend. The location is great considering the proximity to the beach and the view from the balcony. The condition of the hotel is another story. We had to go down to the lobby to get the keys fixed twice before we actually got settled in the room. The room numbers on the doors were handwritten on name tags, the door knobs were old and rusted, and the door is extremely hard to close. The room was clean, but did not resemble the pictures at all. The ceiling was falling and walls in the bathroom were peeling off, television was old with a grainy picture, there's no screen door for the balcony so if you open the door for the ocean breeze, you let the bugs in. If you're just looking for a place to lay your head for a few hours after a long day at the beach then it's not too bad, but not a good choice for family vacations.

Overall I was highly disappointed for how much I paid! The staff was the best part but the room was sketchy at best and there was staff smoking outside my room.

This hotel is not the same as shown on their website.

Upon arriving I was a little taken back by the overall appearance of the hotel. I made my way to the front desk to check in. One of the girls there was polite. She told me check out time was 11 and I told her my email said it was 12 and I had planned on being there until 12 due to plans we had made before arrival. She told me that 12 would be fine. When we stepped on the elevator it had to be 80° . It was terrible. When we got to our room on the 5th floor we were pretty grossed out by the cleanliness of the floor or lack there of. Our beach view was about 2 feet of the beach and 8 feet of the hotel across the street. Our room was incredibly HOT we kept our ac at 61the entire time but it never got cool. We sweated all night. When going down for breakfast they had very little to offer so we returned to the room ,where I was greeted by a cock roach the was about 2&1/2 inches long it literally chased me down the hall. At around 1145 my family and I were prepping to leave because we were told or noon check out would not be a problem. A housing keeping employee started banging on our door screaming check out was 11. I responded Thank you I told the desk I'd be here until noon. 2 mins late the same VERY VERY RUDE women was back banging on the door screaming you were supposed to leave at 11 we will charge you $50.... 2 min later at 1150 she is banging again so I rushed my family out the door. As soon as the for closed my husband realized we had left a charger in the room and because we were rushed we had left both keys. I sent the family to the car and went to the end of the hall to see if one of the house keeping ladies would let me in. She did and I explained that the front desk had okayed my noon check out. She apologized for her Co workers rudeness and excessive pounding. I had my charger and was still before noon. I walked down the hall/stairs to the front desk because the elevator was full of dirty laundry and was attempting to check out at 1158 and the is that RUDE RUDE women talking about my family and how we should have been out and we were making her life so difficult as I stood right there behind her. I politely told them We were out At 12 as promised. I have never been more angry. The place was dirty the ac was broken as worst of all the people were rude!!! Never again

Dirty place. But close to te beach. Rooms and bathroom were not clean

The location of this hotel is incredible! We could see the ocean and the King Neptune statue from our hotel balcony. Although the hotel is across the street from the beach, it didn't feel that way. There are no buildings blocking the view, and the walk from lobby to surf was less than 90 seconds. All rooms face the ocean! Neptune Park Inn is located in the middle of all the action, with restaurants and shops all around. We enjoyed free music at Neptune Park, rental bikes in front of the hotel, and frozen yogurt around the corner, right next to Starbucks. The only reason we moved our car was to drive to a nearby WalMart. Breakfast was toast, bagels, mini muffins, cereal, yogurt, bananas, apples, juice, coffee. Nothing gourmet, but certainly adequate. The staff here was very helpful and polite. I needed a screwdriver for a simple automotive repair, and the maintenance staff provided one in minutes. We forgot to print concert tickets at home, and the front desk personnel pleasantly and efficiently helped us get the papers printed. We asked for a late checkout and the manager granted us an extra hour in the room and three extra hours parking. The hotel is not shiny-sparkly new, but it is clean. The rooftop pool is very small. There is only one elevator. The room doors were heavy and required a good slam to ensure they were locked. Overall, a decent hotel. What it lacks in amenities and glamour, it makes up for in location and convenience. Beds and bathrooms were clean, and I went to the beach for ... the beach! If you're interested in five stars, look elsewhere. If you're interested in amazing location at a reasonable rate, you found it!

The location of the hotel is very good, just 1 block to the beach. The hotel needs restoration badly. It's not worth the >$100 bucks I paid.

For a one night stay, I would say it was decent. The check in clerk was very nice. Check in was a breeze but didn't like them making a copy of my Drivers License. Beach was right across the street. Bathroom was very small, had some amenities. Had a good selection of breakfast items. You really can't see the beach unless you are on the roof of the hotel, where by the way the pool is located. Room seemed clean with some stains on pillow cases and covers. No foul odors. No microwave or mini frig in room.

decent for the cost - loved being close to the beach

not really satisfied.we have to wait till 4 o clock in the afternoon to check in.plus the front desk clerk are not friendly.plus it hot in the room that we stay.

There was a problem with door lock and it had to be programmed again. One elevator, small, could not fit more than four people on it. No updates to hotel. Too expensive for what you get.

The best part of this hotel was the location. The staff at the check in desk were nice but very slow. I tried to check in at 10 to 4 and they would not do it. When I returned I found myself standing in a line for 25 minutes. so I checked in at 4:30 instead of 4pm. Breakfast was not ready at 6:30am. My room keys never worked so the morning staff allowed me to stay later and they were punctual. Overall, I paid way to much for this stay.

The shower was not very hot; the view was good because i still could see the water. Not bad for the price.

This was the worst place I have ever stayed in Everything was dirty!!!

We were led to believe that there was a pool that we could use but found out when we got there that it is seasonal and not yet open. When I complained that I paid almost $200 a night because we wanted a pool, the supervisor said the pool was seasonal. It was not advertised as seasonal. I know they couldn't open the pool just for us but really, if it was advertised that the pool is closed till memorial day, I would have gone elsewhere, and certainly not paid that much money. I feel I was ripped off. The room was dirty. It had hand prints all over the glass doors and I had to clean the tub myself before it could be used. The carpet stunk and turned my socks black. It looked nice in the web pics, but that pic had to be taken a long time ago before the place got so worn down. I would not recommend this place to anyone!

Me and my husband go every year to Virginia Beach for our Anniversary. After the housekeeper cleaned our room they left our door unlocked for hours. So when I returned back to my room the door was open. The top of the TV I found a room card that had belonged to the previous owner of the hotel.Apparently the hotel I stayed at had changed names.

The hotel was great, nice friendly staff, clean room and the beach was across the street. i plan on staying there next year as well.

We got to the hotel and checked in, we never looked at the room initially. When we got there, key in hand, the room was a disaster area. The people next door to us were drinking and partying in room 313, so we got a pound on the door at midnight telling us to keep it down when my girlfriend and I were just sitting outside. Then again at 1 A.M. we had the police called on us because we were violating their noise policy when literally she was passed out on the bed, and I was listening to music at a room level volume form my laptop. I'm 27 years old, I don't drink and dont party, nothing, it was just an escape from where I'm from. So we got evicted from this hotel at 1am with no where else to go at last minute. Note: She pounded on about 5 other doors on that floor and told them the exact same thing as she said to us. I paid $179 for that piece of garbage room and I literally was in the room for all of 3 hours. Worst hotel experience of my life. Never going through [...]again.. and I've used it about 4 times already.

The hotel was not the best I have ever stayed in but for the price you cant beat it. It was clean but needs some updates. The staff was very nice and helpful. It was right across from the beach so you just had to walk across the street. They have a pool on the roof but it was not open yet. Overall for the price I paid I was happy.
