They stay was nice except the elevator being out. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is very friendly. Highly recommend.
I am waiting for the property manager to contact me for some kind of refund. The elevator was out of order and they put me and my fiance on the third floor. I also found out that this is not the first time this happened and they should have informed me ahead of time. I expect some type of refund. Maybe you can contact the hotel and find out what I can expect.

Staff was kind and the rooms were super clean. The bed was so comfortable that I literally felt like it was hugging me. I literally took a picture of the mattress and will be ordering it. Breakfast was eh...but it's still so worth staying here.
The hotel itself was fine. The other guest were extremely noisy in the hall ways, but the worst was my final night Saturday Sept 17. There a group of 5 people sitting directly in front of the main entrance drinking and partying and cursing most of the night. It woke me up at 2:30 am and continued on. I called the front desk and complained. The clerk said he would address it but he never did. I watched out the window and he never went out to say anything. At 4:30 it was still going on. I packed my bags and left around 7:00. I don't expect this much money to not be able to sleep. Will never stay again! Sending letter to Holiday Inn Corporate.
Biggest issue was price - if the room had been 1/2 the price, it would have been ok. Check-in was fine - front desk person was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The main problem with the room was the bathroom - or lack of it. Upon entering the room, there was a small area immediately to the right with a mini-fridge, one-cup coffee maker, and a small microwave. Next to that was a small vanity counter, sink, and mirror and directly opposite to that was a small room with a shower/tub and toilet. I was traveling solo, but I have no idea how 2 people could make that work. In addition, the tiles were loose on the floor of the small bathroom w/ the shower/tub/toilet. The rest of the room was fine and had been updated with a newer style layout. The "breakfast" situation ranked at the bottom of hotel breakfasts - weird wet scrambled eggs and soggy greasy "bacon" right out of the microwave. No fruit in sight, but plenty of packaged muffins and single serving cereal choices. I've experienced plenty of these breakfast situations and quite often they aren't bad, but this was not one of those times. Again, bottom line was feeling like I paid twice as much as what the room should have been priced at - for comparison, I stayed in a Hilton Garden Inn in Washington DC last month that was actually cheaper and much nicer in every way. I'll be back in the Chesapeake area again soon, so I'll make sure to check out a different spot.
Nice hotel. Clean and new-seeming, easy in and out, safe area, big room, comfy bed, good shower, self-serve breakfast decent coffee with lots of food options. A very strange display of ceramic art in the lobby, but I appreciate the unique touch.

The hotel has a very nice lobby. The rooms are ok. The bed was not that comfortable. The hotel is located in a good location. The hotel is not far from the interstate and there are restaurants and a mall nearby.
THERE WAS NOTHING TO LIKE ABOUT THIS HOTLE, EXCEPT THE DECEPTIVE PICTURE THEY DISPLAYED ONLINE FOR CUSTOMERS. THE ELEVATOR FLOOR HAD WEED ALL OVER AND THE ENTER HALLWAY TO MY ROOM SMELL OF WEED. THE BREAKFAST WAS AWFUL, NOT FORGETTING THE FACT THAT, I REQUESTED ADDITIONAL TOWELS WHICH THEY DID NOT PROVIDED. I ASKED THE HOTEL STAFF FOR ADDITIONAL TOWELS WHICH THEY BROUGHT AND PUT ON FLOOR INFRONT OF MY ROOM DOOR WHICH IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTALBL, BECAUSE THE FLOOR IS FILTY AND I REFUSED TO USE TOWELS THAT WERE ON THE DIRTY FLOOR. THOSE HOTEL STAFF ARE EXTREMELY TACTLESS TO THINK ONE WOULD USE THOSE TOWEL ON THEIR FACE AND BODY. IN SUMMARY, THE ACCOMMODATION ISN’T APPROPRIATE FOR HUMAN.
Clean place, great location, friendly employees. During the pandemia they work to maintain a safety enviroment for the guests and the employees, in every elevator you can find hand sanitizer, every employee were using mask.
