...is an understatement. The quality of everything in the room was abysmal, and I felt dirty just standing in the room. The only thing to give credit to the hotel for was that the staff was helpful and polite. I would recommend avoiding this place at all costs though.

I guess $100 is cheap for a hotel room nowadays, however, $100 is still a lot of money and this hotel is not worth it. Other than an extremely nice staff, it's a beat up, dingy, nasty hotel.

1'st room they put me in the curtain wouldn't close and the bathroom door was litterly broke in half. Moved to 2'nd room same night. About 11:00 pm that night two hotel guest come walking into room. Apparently front desk booked the 2'nd room to another couple while we were there. Met 2'nd couple at front desk and told them we are checking out.

Everything was ok. The comfort for the price. Staff was helpful and friendly

Very close to Virginia Beach and several attractions. The room was clean and neat, but it is not a new hotel. Continental Breakfast included with the room was good and convenient. Front desk staff helpful and professional.

Will stay again. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

I stated that my room was for 3 adults, 1 king size was not appropriate for my situation. The bathtub was not clean, I purchased my own and cleaned it myself. The cleanliness of the general grounds was not what I expected. Simply sweeping and occasional hosing down with water would present a more acceptable appearance. There was trash around the stairwells.

When I booked this hotel, I had only minimal expectations: near the airport, free shuttle van, free breakfast, and a comfy place for the night, all at a great price. It was near the airport, but in all other regards, they seem to need renovation and more staff. When I arrived at the airport, I was informed the shuttle was not operating, so I would need to take a cab. The first room I was assigned had not been made, and was littered with trash, and while the second room was in better shape, the AC unit was leaking water inside the room, so a 5 foot radius around the unit was sopping wet. The next morning, the breakfast was also a letdown: the only thing left was cereal, yet the milk was empty. Everything else was empty. At least the shuttle to the airport was working again the next morning, so I could meet family and get the rental car (and some breakfast). The hotel fit my needs for being close to the airport and a low cost for just one night. They just need some renovation and more staff (drivers and breakfast room at least). What staff they did have were very helpful.

Good stay , clean room, friendly staff.. Good expirience

Always read the reviews. People are going to let you know the truth. Wasn't in the best location either.

Nice staff, but the Hotel needs an update / remodel.

THE HOTEL. WAS CHEAP AND THE SHEETS WERE DIRTY,HAD TO SWITCH ROOMS.DEF NEED TO BE COMPLETLY RENOVATED

It was clean and comfortable. You get what you pay for.

Is good for hte price needs more attention and the breafe no good

It's cheap the room is not bad, but watch your butt it's a bad area. Close to the airport and downtown one or two of the office folk are nice, but again some are ignorant, rude and belong at Mickey D's...

Bathroom was so disheveled the wallpaper was coming off and the mold was painted over. Was not comfortable taking a shower. New furniture but the mold ruined the whole experience.

The hotel was filthy and run down. They changed the towels and emptied the trash, but did not clean anything. The carpet was falling apart by the door and hadn't been vacumed. The bed spread had a hole in it. The sheets, towels and walls were stained. Had no hot water one morning. Had mold spots in the bathroom. They did not replace any complimentry items during our stay. The trash cans in the breakfast area were so dirty that I did not want to touch them. The room had a microwave, but there was no place to plug it in. I did not feel that the area was very safe.

Upon entering our room (at about 11pm) we found that the light switch did not work, and that the lights close to the door did not work either. I had to hold the door open so my husband had enough light to make it to the other side of the bed and the bathroom light on! The comforter and sheets looked like they have been used for at least 10 years and the pillows were completely flat. I went to open the soap on the counter and found a spider crawling on it. And to top it off, when I got my shower the safety strips in the tub had been worn down to the point that they were non-existant and I nearly fell when stepping in! The only decent thing about this hotel was the complimentary breakfast. My husband and I decided to check it out, and were greatly surprised by finding bagels, doughnuts, eggs and biscuits. Overall I would say DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!

BLACK MOLD all over the ceilings and the cleaning staff didn't bother to clean the toilet from the female who evidently stayed there before us- gross!!! TV was old school and tiny... Place is in need of a total overhaul. Didn't even stay for the free breakfast (which looked inedible). Spend your money elsewhere!!!

ice machines didn't work, no hot water, needs updated staff was exceptional as well as the breakfast. rooms need updated & were not very clean. No nearby stores
