I stayed one night when attending a meeting in the conference rooms. I had a room which overlooked the pitch ! It was rather dark as it was into a corner. The bedroom was fine although the iron and ironing board were somewhat cheap offerings. Bathroom was fine with nice fluffy towels. Breakfast was very good with a buffet selection of cooked and cold foods. Pleasant stay and would stay there again if in Norwich.
Great location and if you are into football, perfection for an on-the-spot view from some of the rooms that overlook the stadium. Otherwise you are perfectly positioned to visit the interesting city and the surrounding area.
Stayed here for two nights and it is very good value. Rooms are large and comfortable. The breakfast s very very good, well cooked with a big selection at the buffet. Staff here could not be more peasant and helpful. We would highly recommend this hotel. It is though a good twenty minute walk in to the city.
Stayed in the hotel for a weekend break and was very impressed with the room, the staff and our breakfast. Overall the standard of cleanliness was first class and the room well equiped. Very pleased with our choice of hotel, though not an issue for us but it's not the most centrally based locatkon for the city centre but a short taxi ride can remedy this issue.
what a difference a week makes stayed in another hotel within the ihg group the week before and the staffing between both is chalk and cheese The holiday Norwich has staff who want to make your stay as comfortable and hassle free as possible We booked a weekend using a reward nights and sue on reception made sure we had a great executive room THANK YOU checking in was quick and easy hassle free from Danielle Room comfortable with the little extras you would expect from a executive room The restaurant and bar staff were all very attentive and making sure that we were looked after sorry I cant remember all your names but Thomas who was training was superb with the Gin list Every member of staff nothing was too much trouble and after only staying only a couple of days they knew who you were and very attentive
Check inn was quick and helpful food in restaurant fab. The best broney. The bar person call Naomi when beond to help me find the food that I could eat one night. One small fault tv that was sort of fixed not the way it should Heather on the desk was fab making sure my taxi was called. And Johnny on bar was fab with is info on the fab drinks choose.
I stay here very often. Always excellent. A big thanks to all the staff especially Sue and Val on this stay. They made it extra special for me. Highly recommended whether you are in Norfolk in business or for pleasure. There are plenty of hotels in Norwich - this one remains popular which is down to the excellent rooms and fantastic staff. Thanks again Val and Sue.
Booked two rooms here on my IHG rewards for a funeral in Norwich. Good welcome, pleasant reception team, recognised as IHG Spire member and upgraded to exec rooms. Wow! Great view of football pitch from room. Everything else typical, decent holiday inn. Easy dedicated parking next to hotel, presume available on match days to residents. Bar okay for a nightcap later in the evening. Fast efficient and friendly at checkout too.
We stayed here Saturday night for a weekend away and to watch the football. Parking was a breeze, even on a busy matchday and just a minutes walk from the hotel and football ground. The room was very modern and clean. We had a room on the 1st floor overlooking the pitch. It was a great view and a shame that we had already purchased 2 tickets! Aircon was very good along with all other room facilities. Breakfast was great too, buffet style with lots of options. All staff were very friendly and helpful. My wife mentioned it was my birthday and it was a nice touch to have a card and chocolates waiting when we got to the room so thank you.
Great location and can walk to some really nice restaurants and canals. Huge food store that is 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Breakfast in hotel was great, but I didn't stay there for dinner. Only because I was outside.. but rooms were perfectly consistent with Holiday Inn and exactly what you expect with this brand.
