Had visited this resort only as a one-day guest for the beach. Enjoyed the beach very much. Calm and warm clear sea with white sands around. Very nice to spend the whole day here swimming and lying under parasol at the beach. Beach bungalows like spaces are also available to dine in in addition to beach chairs and tables.
The beach opposite White Sand Doclet Resort is amazingly beautiful. Though service at the resort is quite poor, it is highly recommended beach to visit. I really escaped from my busy life and enjoyed it very much.
We spent 5 days at White Sand Doclet Resort & Spa. Quiet place, true heaven to recharge energy. Beautiful beach is a few walks away from our bungalow. The room is spacious with everything you need for daily basic. Staff is very helpful and friendly. You can book tours to visit some islands plus diving at the reception. If you want some fun other than just laying down on the beach, jet ski/flying and some activities are available. Reason I gave it 4* is because of the kitchen. Breakfast buffet is very poor. We had a dinner at the hotel and it was much lower than expectation. Anyway, we found a very nice restaurant just about 5' walking from the hotel. Fresh seafood with reasonable price. You can see it on the right side on the way to the hotel, Tinh Thu restaurant. One more thing: there are many mosquitoes so bring your spray!
Everything is old and ran down. We didn't stay at the hotel, bought a day pass and apparently the staff were quite rude tried to double charge us for everything (had to point the price chart to get real price). We had lunch aswell and it was actually quite nice and cheap. The beach is the prettiest i have seen in Vietnam but it has sea lice in it so cant swim sadly :(
I and my friend traveled here for vacation. The Beach is so nice, I love white sand. The price is high. When I came, that time was not crowded. there has many leaf huts so you can rest in and have to pay
Its dirty and full of mosquitoes that bites. The shower didnt have warm water. The Staff not friendly. The dinner buffet really sucks. The buffet only contain 3 dishes. Overall this is a more 1 star hotel rather than 4 star. Stay away from this hotel. Its a reason why people gives it bad rates
I was here with my family 2 months ago. Room was well prepared. The service was ok. But it was quite boring 'cos it's isolated. The price was quite high compare to other hotels, but it's acceptable, still. If you're looking for some places with just relaxing and not many entertainment. The hotel is a good place for you !
may be because it was rainy maybe because we were the only non russian but the impression was that everything was there beach pool Aircon good restaurant probably the best so far but was missing some charme still I would reccomend it and the four stars are all there
This resort advertises itself as a four star resort -trust me it does not even deserve a one star - it is the first time in my life that I checked into a hotel and check out 2 hours later as I was disgusted with the place. A local informed us that Europeans and Americans hate the place - very easy to understand! The landscaping and as non existent, the view form beach was of what looked like an oil refinery, the bar had no staff ........................ My advise is simple DO NOT stay there it is not a four star hotel. Personally I have travelled extensively throughout the world and I have never had the misfortune of checking into a place like this!!!!
I think the room you select makes a difference at this White sand hotel. I was in the building and my room was fantastic. The 2nd floor balcony was angled to look out towards the water and was very private. You could not see your neighbors on either side. The bed was king sized and very comfy. The carpet appeared to be brand new and there was no "mildew" smell. I was also surprised ot find a HD TV! The room also had a very nice wet bar and an oversized bar refrigerator (for you personal items) in addition to the mini-bar. The bathroom towels appeared to be brand new and I thought very nice. The grounds were lovely and and the pool and hot tub areas excellent. I had breakfast two mornings and although the buffet was a bit pricey, the items presented were tasty. Extremely close proximity to town. It took me about 5 minutes to walk there for some great Local meals. There were events going on at the hotel (business meetings, a wedding) and those attendees took up many of the self parking slots. The work out area was nice. A truly relaxing place!
