The hotel is very well located, next to the main railway station at walking distance of the city centre. It is easily reachable by car and certainly by train. The rooms are large and well furnished. The isolation against sound from the street could be better, however this is a very quiet area at night and there is no noise. The bed is large and provides good sleep quality. The heating is not really controllable but the temperature was very pleasant. The wireless connection to internet is included in the price and provides suitable bandwidth. There is a nice TV set, small fridge and a water heater for coffee / tea preparation. There is good storage capacity. The bathroom is of appropriate size. The walk=in shower is good. There is a standard set of amenities.we did not take breakfast as the price is for large buffet breakfast which we do not need. We used the restaurant for dinner. It was of average quality, good service and moderate price. There is parking on site which was very convenient.
The best Accor I ever sleept ... really ... not because the room or the facilities but you really feel welcomed... in all the areas reception... bar ...always with a smile. The first time ever I could get fast check out from an Accor Hotel
A decent hotel, very close to the train station. The reception is very helpful, and the rooms very clean. However, the single room is very small and the bathroom also. It seems that the hotel has been redecorated recently. The breakfast is very satisfactory.
The hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from the central train station and bus station and is located near center of Nijmegen. Staff were friendly and helpful answered any question I had about surrounding area for exploring. I ate in the hotel restaurant on both nights I stayed there and I can recommend the food and service. There is also a buffet breakfast available and again nice tasty selection I stayed in a single room for my short break, room was basic but clean and comfortable Would recommend without hesitation, will stay there again on my next visit
It was a great stay. The Mercure in Nijmegen is convenient and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I love online check-in and check-out which speeds things up and makes everything smooth. The Mercure is my go-to for stays in Nijmegen.
The hotel rooms are tiny and plain weird in shape (they are triangular). There is very little space to hang your clothes. We were too people, staying for 3 nights, but there is barely enough space for a traveler who only stays overnight! The breakfast is ok, and the location of the hotel is good, right by the train station and 10min walk from the city center. The hotel staff were very friendly.
This was our second stay at this hotel, great location, super clean, helpful and friendly staff. On site parking and bicycle rental. We will gladly stay at this hotel again. We visited Nijmegen for the first time earlier this year where one of our sons takes part in an annual international ice hockey competition. The UK team and many others regularly book the Mercure hotel and we stayed there for this reason. The hotel is fantastically located near to the main railway station (handy for Amsterdam) and only a 5-10 minute lovely walk into the beautiful town centre. The hotel staff and facilities were absolutely great everyone was extremely helpful and friendly, the rooms were spacious bright modern and spotless. Breakfast was excellent as was the bar after a full day at the ice rink, just right for a chilled relaxing end of the day drink. Parking is on site and the hotel is easy to find. We will definitely be visiting again. Thank you all at the Mercure Nijmegen for making our stay so inviting and relaxing. Babs and Hugh Williams. Manchester UK
Fresh rooms, located close to the train station and not at least: great breakfast. I'm picky when it comes to croisants. But I must say: they were delicious. Idem for the egg and the saucages. That in combination with fresh orange juice kicked-off my day properly. Kind service and quick check-out.
