Great location to see Nice in the heart of a popular neighborhood. Daily market. Clean. Friendly. Right on the tram. 15 minutes walk to the sea.
Purchased on Orbitz and was noted that there was a hottub but it was closed in Novemeber. Bathroom smelled funky also. Wifi spotty during the day. Great location but would not recommend
Great location. Right on the Tram which turned out to be terrific. Also, the farmer’s market was wonderful and right outside our door. We were also away from the old town which is fascinating but noisy late at night so we were a five minute tram to the heart of the action and five minute tram back to a quiet hotel that facilitated sleep. The staff were so kind and helpful. It was also affordable. The room was small but we were rarely in it so it didn’t matter to us. We assumed mediocre food at the hotel which turned out to be a mistake. We would eat there more next time. Rooftop bar was nice and the wait staff were capable although they had a flare for being purposefully inattentive...a French hobby at times. We would definitely stay again.
Room was a little small compared to my other rooms on this trip, but we had an awesome view from the balcony. The room insulation was great - we were on the sixth floor under the rooftop bar and were never bothered by it. Not a bad walk from sites, perhaps a half hour or so to get to the beach and market and ten minutes to the train station. The girl who checked us in gave us a useful map and recommended climbing the hill down by the beach to watch the sunset from one of the towers. That was awesome!
