Hotel is in a great location, walking distance from everything but just out of the way so it is quiet at night. Rooms were great, cleaned daily and thankfully had air con. Staff were very polite and helpful, especially Eva and Salim, thank you both. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.
Very nice small hotel a little off the centre of Nice. 10 mins stroll to beach ( Promenade de ang) 15 mins stroll to old town. Plenty of nice restaurants near this hotel. Great character lift in hotel .. old style cage with fold open doors. Rooms clear, tidy , en-suite, flat screen tv. Staff really friendly and helpful, feels like a family run establishment. Over all excellent.
Neat little hotel in a good location, near the train station. Reception staff very helpful. We booked an extra room by mistake and didn't realise until we got there. They didn't charge us for it. Beach is at a walking distance and lots of good places to eat nearby. Overall, good value for money.
Hotel is 5 minutes from Gare Nice Ville and 10 minutes from Promenade des Anglais. Bed was very comfortable and room spotless. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. I suggest you book via the hotel website, as that will give you half price breakfast (7euro instead of 14). Deal not available on arrival (why?).
Only a 2 minute walk from the train station, good clean rooms and very helpful staff, would stay here again. A little noisy from the traffic if you left the window open, possibly take ear plugs. Rooms have air-con.
We stayed with this hotel for 2 nights. This hotel is neat though their lift is quite small. I am used to taking the stairs, hence it wasn't a problem for me. The breakfast was good. It had a lot of variety for us. Though the hotel was not right on the beach, it wasn't too far from the beach either. Nor was it far from the old town which was probably 15 mins away. The room itself was neat though a tad small. Not a big concern again for us as we were primarily there only to sleep. :) The staff were very helpful. They helped us get a taxi early morning as we had a flight to catch. I will definitely recommend this hotel to people. :)
I stayed here for 4 nights, and it was OK. It's not a posh place, but it was clean and comfortable. The price was very good for Nice - in comparison to other places. The staff was friendly. The 14 Euro breakfast was good. The location close to the train station was convenient for me. About a 10 minute walk to the beach. It's hard to rave about the place, but there was really nothing wrong with it. The elevator is small. No biggie for me. They have a 10 hour limit on the internet which you can renew unlimited times for free, but you do have to ask the receptionist to do it for you.
We stayed at Hotel le Lausanne for three nights. We really liked the location: very close to the train station, yet away from the hustle and bustle which normally comes with it; a pleasant 10 min walk to the Promenade des Anglais and about 15 min walk to the old town. The street was beautiful and very quiet - exactly what we wanted. The hotel was very, very clean. It certainly was a big plus. Our room on the third floor was beautifully decorated and had a decent amount of storage space. It was small, of course, but we were not planning to spend much time in the hotel, so it did not matter. The bathroom was good. While the shower was rather small, the water pressure was very good, and the temperature constant - this is a common pitfall with many hotels, even those with higher star rating. So we really appreciated the ability to take a proper shower after the long day on the beach. The bed was a bit hard to our liking. If you prefer your beds on the softer side, you might find it slightly uncomfortable. The bedlinen was beautiful and of very good quality, especially considering the 3 star rating of this hotel. We particularly enjoyed the old-fashioned lift with the beautiful iron door on the outside and the wooden doors, which had to be manually closed, on the inside. It was a wonderful experience. The only slightly negative side I'd highlight was the air conditioning system. It only has the on and off button, and when we called the staff to ask for the temperature to be lowered, they said they would have to come and program it themselves. Even after those adjustments it was still too hot in the room, which made it difficult to sleep for my partner. Lastly, the reception staff were rather indifferent. While one would not expect the 5 star service in this hotel, a smile goes a long way - and doesn't cost anything. In the 4 days we were there we were only greeted warmly once, by a lovely gentleman who was on a nightshift. A little smile would have made the experience so much nicer. All in all, I would recommend this hotel to anyone on the budget.
Don't stay here. The photos presented do not represent the actual hotel. The elevator is too small for 2 humans and their suitcases. And I cannot state this clearer... Their service is HORRENDOUS AND RUDE. The receptionist Zephaniah was disgusting and rolled her eyes at me whenever i spoke to her. the room was also disgusting and not big enough for the 3 people that we were, and immediately upon check in, we wanted to leave. They then reported to booking.com that we "never showed up" and attempted to charge me double the price for cancellation. Unacceptable behavior and I would never recommend them to anyone.
The room was cosy, but clean and all the necessary facilities were there. There were no air conditioning though, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably. The staff was friendly and the location is very good (not expensive parking nearby, 10 min walk to the beach).
