Amazing location overlooking a rushing creek and walking trail only minutes from downtown St Catharines. Lily and Steve are generous and knowledgeable hosts who made all the guests feel at home with one another. Delicious breakfast beautifully presented.

Beautiful location nestled in a quiet area situated across from 12 mile creek. You’ll forget you’re in the city! Close to the highway and walking distance to downtown. Loved our room and the view from our patio. Spacious bathroom, 2 sinks and shower with 2 shower heads. Would recommend for couples or large group but also seems child friendly. They even have installed a chairlift for those who cannot/have difficulty climbing stairs.

Super room, comfortable bed and great bathroom . We enjoyed sitting on our enclosed veranda overlooking the creek with a mug of coffee and/or a glass of wine. Breakfasts were served at a long table with other guests which made for very interesting and informative discussions. Lily and Steve were extremely helpful advising us on places to visit ( and how to get there )and where to eat in the evening. This is a mid range B&B with luxury accommodation.

This place was excellent in every aspect! We booked all 4 rooms for a wedding we were attending and all of our friends agreed. The location is central to almost everywhere you need to travel to. Breakfast was wonderful and Lily and Steve were so accommodating! Why pay for a hotel room for the same price when you can stay in luxury? Definitely would recommend!!

We spent a full week at this just beautiful Inn. The rooms are large, modern and clean. It was nice spending time on the private balcony. The breakfasts were different every day and were delicious. The four of us took a painting class with Lily. She was so patient and positive as we all worked at different paces. Steve and Lily are the best hosts we have ever experienced in a small Inn it B&B!! We highly recommend this Inn for couples, groups and families. We will be back next year.

This was our first stay at Lily’s House on the 12. Everything was top notch about our visit. The directions when you first arrive to get inside were perfect. We were greeted by one of the owners Steve. He gave us a great recommendation for dinner for a place that we could walk to. To say that the room was clean is an understatement. It was spotless and the place is almost three years old. The screened in porch was also very nice as well as the large shower. The breakfasts that I had both mornings were amazing. Presentation and taste was wonderful. We enjoyed talking with Lily too. Even though she will tell you that she did not have experience in this business, she was a very fast learner. It is very close to the Henley Regatta for anyone who rows too. I would highly recommend this place and we will definitely go back again. Thanks for a great stay Lily and Steve!

A very large bedroom, a large bathroom with 2 showers, and a veranda of more than 150 square feet, with a fridge, coffee maker, and 2 armchairs and a bench, just in front of the river. All clean as it was totally new (very good mattress, firm as we like). A breakfast as you can not imagine, with fresh fruits and chinese cook, all home made by the owner. The hosts, Lily and Steve were amazing as well : their only purpose : enjoy at 100% your stay. We will be back for sure. Probably the best BB experience of our life. Thanks a lot.

This was our second stag at Lily's house; we had a tremendous experience both times. Lily and Steve are delightful hosts. The breakfasts were excellent. We stayed this time in the Autumn Room and really enjoyed the morning and evening breezes on the balcony while sipping coffee and tea. The view of the river is wonderful, having quite a calming effect on me. If you have the time, take Lily up on one of her painting classes; I didn't think I would have so much fun painting, but Lily made it another great experience of our stay. We are looking forward to our next visit to St. Catherine's and another stay at Lily"s House.

Lily's House is located along the 12 Mile Creek, which is really a river. adjacent a lovely walking trail that goes on for longer than we stayed on it. And you can walk to parts of town, a small park and where there was a fair going on at the time. There is parking in front of the house - it's a quiet area and we slept well. It's a short drive to the tourist destinations, and we found other things at Lily's that can't be found at tourist spot, which made the trip and visit extra special. Each room (there are 4) are named after a season. We stayed in the Spring room, which was surprisingly the largest of the 4, as we had booked the last remaining room. It has a large 4-season sunroom with a view of the river and an electric fireplace. Three of the 4 rooms have river views, the other faces the backyard which is attractive as well. There is a shared coffee/fridge area nearby and they are in the process of adding individual coffee/fridges to each room. There's medium sized LCD TV with Hulu and Netflix access, though we didn't have much time for this. Breakfast is 9 am but may be flexible. The rooms are modern as it the B&B, not one of the antique types. The B&B and bedrooms are adorned with beautiful paintings of China, made by Lily's Dad a local artist who has an international reputation. Which brings me to one of the unique aspects of our visit, which is the art. If it's possible to fail art class, I probably would have. However, Lily also teaches beginners experientially in a studio on the main floor. This was totally unexpected, but with our 2-night stay, Lily offered us the opportunity to paint a picture. The image of my stick figures of a couple and a dog came to my mind, however it was unbelievable, to us and our family, what we were able to create. This attached image, was one of the simpler options to choose from - there are dozens. It was challenging and we needed some help, but it was a great couple’s activity. Lily was extremely patient and generous with her time and energy - boundless energy really - which enabled us to create our own special memory of the visit, and have the joy of artistic creation. Lily's breakfasts are also adventurous a fusion of eastern and western tastes. They are healthy, and just the right size. Steve and Lily are very attentive hosts and excellent conversationalists with a great sense of humour.. We are so sorry to have to leave this magical place. We truly enjoyed our stay at Lily's House on the 12, received both emotional and physical sustenance, much more than expected. And we would certainly return to stay again next time in the Niagara region. Thank you Lily and Steve 😊

From the moment we booked to our check out; everything was perfect and we have zero complaints! The room was very spacious, comfy and clean. After we had booked this location, my boyfriend had injured his ankle and could not put any weight on it. I emailed Lily and asked about accessibility as I was worried about the stairs. She promptly emailed back with pictures of the stair lift that’s installed at her place and I was instantly relieved. I was also in a wedding on the day of our check in and she was able to accommodate the check in time for us. My brother and boyfriend went to check in and she showed them how to use the stair lift and was very understanding of our situation. Our room was perfect; the washroom was very clean and had a his and hers/dual shower head which was very convenient and cool! The breakfast they provided in the morning was delicious! Because we were at a wedding the night before, Lily kindly asked if we wanted to push our breakfast time back so that we can rest longer. She also did not rush us to to check out and allowed us to stay a little past our check out time so we can finish up breakfast and pack up. Lily also showed us her beautiful art studio! Our stay here was absolutely wonderful! They were very accommodating and made our stay seamless and comfortable. I HIGHLY recommend choosing this lovely bed and breakfast if you are vacationing in the area or even a weekend getaway!
