Americas Best Value Chalet Inn & Suites-Niagara Falls

This hotel was conveniently located and priced right. The amenities were acceptable and the maid service consistent and predictable. Good parking that allows you to come and go as you please, but there was a small daily fee. There are two wading pools, one inside and one outside, they looked maintained and clean, although we did not partake. No smoking rooms strongly enforced, but if you do smoke, there was a wing of rooms for that. Overall, this hotel is great value and only a few blocks from the tourist areas around the Casino Niagara. Access to the falls and those attractions by car or by taking the bus, best value is to purchase a pass from the park district. take the green, blue or red line busses to your destinations.

Owner is a very nice gentleman Location is perfect, you can walk to the falls and around, no need for a car. Only fail was the internet, I was unable to get the connection Definitively will rent again

Location is good and price is reasonable. Lots of good food

Very decent hotel. A close walk to all of the activities surrounding the Falls. I would definitley stay here again. Great value

Nice people however the hotel needs a little work. Fair value.

Here's all you need to know. Pros: Location!!! Walkable to the falls, and just a block off Clifton Hills that is fun central! Price. It's cheap. There's a nice indoor pool! Cons: It feels dirty (ish). The staff is unfriendly and not helpful. Parking costs $8 a night. Neutrals: The breakfast is just three different baked goods cut up. I didn't even eat it the second morning. IMPORTANT: If you chose a non-smoking room on Orbtiz the hotel claims they don't get that info from Orbtiz. You'll want to call them to confirm you are getting a non-smoking room. We were in a smoking room, and no attempt was made by them to get us into a non smoking room like we reserved, despite us asking. The room smelled disgusting.

Overall it was a pleasant stay. First time i had booked on-line and I was surprised. Rooms were clean, reasonable location.

This hotel was not like the description. The staff was unfriendly, rude, and made me feel like I was a nuisance to them. The guests were very loud and partied outside on the corridor all night (imagine US college spring breakers). It was loud in our room then because the walls are very thin and the door had large gaps when it closed. The worst was the water noise. The noise from other guest showers was like constant thunder in our room and went on until 3 am (started up again at 6). The noise of other people's showers was actually louder in our room than the noise from our own shower! Also, the second night the internet stopped working and the staff wouldn't fix it. They said our computers were the problem. Highly unlikely since both my boyfriend and my computers worked the night before and then stopped working at the same time. Overall, this was a major waste of money.

When we arrived, the unfriendly manager told me the room I had booked had plumbing issues, so I couldn't have it. I could have 2 regular rooms instead (since I had reserved a suite). When I asked if it had the same amenities, I was told there were no fridges. I asked for a discount, and I was told in no friendly manner that I was free to go somewhere else if I didn't like it. I complained long enough to have the miser manager haul up a small fridge to my room for my stay. The satellite TV statement is a lie. They only have basic cable, like 2-20, and a few are pretty fuzzy.

Our family had a great time, the room was perfect for the amount of time we actually spent in them. The area is very commercialized, but the room was quiet. We visited the Falls area several days and also drove to Toronto twice which is about an hour and 15mins away, the kids enjoyed the craziness of the Falls area, while we enjoyed the sightseeing in Toronto. Great trip can't wait to go back

This place was very clean and quite. It was only a few blocks away from the main strip of food and entertainment and several away from the falls. The man who I would presume to be the owner was a real pain to work with. He was very unhelpful and unfriendly. Without my interactions with him, this would have been a flawless stay.

Rooms were big and clean. Hotel was well maintained. Wi-Fi was a bust. You couldn't get it from your room.

The room was clean but had bare necessities. It was convenient to Clifton Hill and the Falls...both in walking distance. Continental breakfast consisted of cold muffins, coffee and tang for juice.

The Inn is clean, the staff is friendly, close enough to all Niagra Falls attractions Ample parking reasonably priced.

The hotel was nice ...its a good place to stay if you dont want a lot of frills...it was clean and the staff was very helpful...it was within walking distance to Niagara falls and the amusement area but far enough away to be out of ear shot of the amusement area noise. The hotel did have a nice indoor and outdoor pool. Anyone looking for a reasonably priced no frills hotel close to Niagara Falls would definately be happy here.

I felt uncomfortable staying here after I was chased down by the hotel manager who thought I was sneaking people into my room. I hadn't even been in my room yet, so the rest of my stay was uncomfortable. We were also placed directly next to the hotel lobby, where a buzzer went off every time a person entered the room. It kept us up all night.

The room was clean. The kids loved the pool. The only problem was the towels. There were only 4 towels in the room, so after swimming you have no towels to shower with. You can take your wet towels to the front desk and trade them in for clean ones. Not a major problem only an inconvenience. Overall the hotel was good- basic things you would need if your there for a short stay.

Americas Best Value Inn had helpful staff around to help you when needed. We did not like the fact that there was no tissues in the room, and only one garbage pail in the room. Also you had to go and get towles from the front desk, who in turn had to get them from the laundry room, so you could go for a swim. Check out was unusual in that our room had to be inspected befor we could be allowed to check out, and with four ladies from sixty to seventy seven we felt that was not nessesary, on a rainy day to be running back and forth to the front office. The older man who insisted on this was very rude and I did not appreciate his smart remarks. This is the reason I would not recommend this place to a friend.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate your thoughtful comments and appraisal of our staff and amenities. We're in the process of making another enhancement of the Wi-Fi system which we trust will eliminate fluctuations in certain areas of the facility during peak usage periods.
