Newly renovated and great location-- the room was very clean and the staff at the front desk very friendly

I chose this hotel as it appeared to be close to the Boston Marathon route. I am elderly and cannot walk or stand for long periods of time. When I talked to the hotel staff, I discovered that the hotel was not at close as I thought, but the staff gave me a better map and directions for getting to the race route which were easily accessible. I walked a few steps from the "T" station and found myself right at the route barrier and had a great view of my grandson's first official marathon run.

Hotel staff were very pleasant. Typical hotel room-clean and quiet. However, hotel going through renovations so probably noisy at times. Did not appreciate the charge for using the internet/wireless. Other hotels provide it for free. Really, no complaints and would stay there again.

The room was so dusty, my daughters allergies flared up. Never again will I stay at this outdated, overpriced hotel.

It was great very clean and nice would stay there again

Wet beds, quilts and everything . Switch room but same. Only thing I can do is warming the room and cover me a sheet all night long

Nice and clean with fresh sheets. I left something in the room and they are mailing it back to me.

The room was lovely and we had a great view of the water. Quiet and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

Room was clean, but not very roomy. Internet was impossible to access without asking the desk, due to useless/wrong directions on the website. There was a daily charge of $9.99 or $12.99/day for all those not members of the loyalty group and/or those who made reservations through a third party. Use of printers in the primitive "business center" also required human help due to a lack of simple directions. Daily parking charge of $11.00 wasn't mentioned until check-in, although I overheard another guest being surprised by the charge as she was checking out.

I went to the hotel for a meeting for business. The hotel room was fine and the meeting area was satisfactory.

Overall good, but they forgot to mention additional charge hold on credit card

The hotel itself needs to be upgraded. Very tired looking. Room service food was not good. Staff was very courteous and helpful. I would recommend because of location and staff, not physical plant.

Very disappointed. This location was just ok. The room was musty - hard to breathe with asthma. Not happy at all.

The Marriott was very clean, the staff was helpful, and the hotel was just down the road from Boston College.

We had a uneventful stay. The employees were very helpful and pleasant. The rooms and public places were clean and inviting. The only problem was they didn't have any extra blankets we had to use ones from the car.

The Hotel itself is very nice but the listing in our search for Boston hotels was we believe misleading. We were sure the description read, within walking distance of the freedom trail. The hotel is actually 10 miles outside Boston. When explaining our disappointment to the hotel desk staff, she said she would look into it but couldn't do anything about it since it was booked through a third party and not them directly. The next day when we search hotels in Boston through that third party, this hotel no longer came up. Issue resolve but not for us.Hotel in Boston/Newton is not in Boston. Disappointed this time.

The hotel was very nice and location perfect. It took less than 15 minutes to get to Boston. The food was great. The Starbucks coffee however was disappointing very weak. The concierge were very nice and the valet recommended a very good Caribbean restaurant. The hotel also allowed me to have a late discharge. I would stay there again

very nice Marriott property, as usual. the southern cal fans staying there weren't too happy about boston college beating them, but the crowd was having a great time and the staff was superbly accommodating, staying open late in various venues to accommodate their guests.

I can’t say enough good things about the Boston Marriott Newton. We arrived at 7am after driving straight through from Arizona and they checked us in early without a second thought. My family loved the area and walked around the parks and local area, where they found a great tea house. Friendly staff and clean rooms at a great price what more could you ask for…

highly recommend this hotel. Easy to get to. Close to all universities and downtown boston.
