We made our reservation several months in advance for thanksgiving week. We checked in, dropped our stuff off in the room and left to visit with family. Upon returning we began to settle in. The toilet seat was “soiled” which was bad enough, but wait... there’s more. When we pulled back the bedding there was a bug crawling on the sheets. We pulled back the bedding on the other bed...yes, a bug! Right beside the bed was a white “stain” that looked very much like semen. We took pictures and videos and headed to the front desk. The bugs appeared to be crabs (google search). We spoke with Dani who was extremely pleasant and helpful. We requested to be moved to the Comfort Inn next door which was permitted at no additional cost. We dealt with Karen to get situated at the Comfort Inn. She was also very nice and helpful. The room there was lovely and we didn’t have any other issues. I would never ever stay at the Mulberry Inn after that experience, but I would recommend the Comfort Inn right next door. Side note: both hotels are located next door to a gentleman’s club.
