Although the the accommodations are adequate and the staff was friendly. The ventilation system in the room required repair. The beds were uncomfortable and there cigarette burns in the sheets. It appears that the establishment shares parking with another established.

There were no towels in the bathroom and the bed is in definite need for replacement. The personel was not helpful at all. Probably never stay here again.

Stay was nice in process if fixing up hotel a it's still a descent hotel its 6 min drive to sons. Staff very friendly.

We checked in at about 6:00 pm. The first thing we noticed about the hotel is that no elevator is available, so we had to climb to the 2nd floor with our luggages. During the next 4 hours, we found following items were not working - TV remote controller, air conditioner switches and bath shower. At 11:00 pm we had to change to another room because we can't take a shower. In the 2nd room the air conditioner didn't work right as well. The front desk lady finally decided that she wanted to check the 3rd room before we moved into. Finally the 3rd room has the working equipment. After taking shower, we found that one of the bad matress was broken. Since it was mid-night already and we were sick and tired of their services, we decided to stay in the 3rd room.

Rest and relaxation.

After going to the smelly room, we decided to give it a chance. Bad idea. The moldy smell and I believe bug spray was so bad that I could not sleep the third night in the room. So I wandered in the halls at 2am. till 4am. then went up front by the front door and sat at the pitiful breakfast table [folding table and 3 folding chairs] which was all they had for the entire hotel people. I sat there till 6am. and asked to be moved to another room, which they did. I found out others did too. The AC had only the cold or off because the control knob did not work. From the first room I felt sick and my 3 year old grand daughter that came to visit us became sick also. She saw a Dr. I did not. I still am having effects from it although I am home now. Sore throut and runny nose. Not happy. Then we were lock out of the building and room. Standing there outside with the washed clothes people looking at us trying to get in, how embarrasing. One guy let us in. Get up to the room to find that we are locked out for the second time, once 5 days before. I was told by the clerk it was my fault because I carried mine in my nylon bilfold and my wife had hers in her purse. ?????? There is no metal in my bilfold nor in her side pocket that held ONLY the card. Two different places. Are we happy...you be the judge. Oh they were written up for the poor breakfast from someone with a file folder. I do not know who it was but she said "we will discuss this after I write this in. It will take only thirty seconds to write you up" I stayed a night at another hotel 8 north of there in Royal... something city and it was good

It was very enjoyable

AD said free continental breakfast, but I guess they meant 1st come 1st serve. Never anything left when we went down. Room was clean and quiet.

ok, location good for travelors or for local tourist spots. Close to Yorktown,Va. which is a delightful layed back place to visit.

This hotel is great for someone who is just staying for one nite and is on a budget. It could use a better clean up in the rooms and repairs to doors.

All I needed was a place to stay. This was perfect.

We were looking for a motel to stay in while visiting family. We usually stay at another motel but were looking for a place that wasn't so expensive. The Super 8 was a good price for the value we received. It was clean, friendly, had a tasty continental breakfast and the ice maker even worked!. Less than 1/2 from the interstate system. We will stay again.
