Wyndham Inn on the Harbor is located in Newport. International Tennis Hall of Fame and Museum and Beechwood Mansion are cultural highlights, and some of the area's notable landmarks include Touro Synagogue and The Breakers. Old Colony and Newport Railway and Exploration Center and Aquarium are also worth visiting. Our guests love the property's location for the nightlife.
The Staff was excellent, each and every one we encountered. The property is under construction so not a pretty look. One real issue is lack of parking. I returned from the day's activities to no available parking spot. Fortunately they found me a spot at their sister property.
Our stay was great it was our 49th wedding anniversary and we really enjoyed it your staff we’re courteous and helpful not so sure about no maid service but it worked out okay we would recommend this hotel to our friends and family and the location is great thanks
Suite was small and room hot- had a nice view thank goodness. Did not know there was No daily room service. Thought it would have been newer Also since we were asked if we were celebrating anything special and we replied it was our 40ith anniversary- it would have been nice if there were 2 small individual bottles of champagne or wine!
View is great, as is the location. But, no maid service ? A smoke detector that beep from Friday to Sunday ? Told the Front desk on Friday afternoon about the smoke detector, nothing was done.
