La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Atlanta South - Newnan

we picked this hotel because it was dog "friendly" there was absolutely no place to walk our dogs, the hotel was under renovation, no breakfast, the A/C in the room cycled constantly at ear-piercing levels.

good place just the right distance for a stop thru Atlanta.

really musty smell but room was overall clean. just needs a little tic

With a very warm home away from home feeling and closeness to my work site I will always choose this site if there is availability. I have stayed at other Hotels but this by far is the best so always keep my room open.

There were a few plusses. But they had no back-up plan for once the weather got bad (Snow & Ice) and their Housekeeping Staff wasn't able to come in, no one offered an apology or stated we would offer a free night or discount for the two out of four the bed wasn't made or the room cleaned not to mention fresh towels. I shouldn't have had to ask for them.

Nice pet friendly hotel. Did not see a designated pet walk area but our small one is pad trained and has his own travel pen so not a big deal. Breakfast is basic carb loaded express but nice to catch a bagel and juice before hitting the road. Staff was very friendly.

maintenance man aggressively knock our door, as soon as my wife open the door, maintenance man push the door, my wife push it back. Wet carpet and smell, No toilet paper available when I ask for toilet paper the front desk reply I will check if we have it. I call again, Front desk reply you have to come down here to pick it up. After room service there did not provide towel, I ask for fresh towel, lady who service our room told me, we are still washing the towel Do I have to wait until they wash towel before I can take shower?

Dirty room, front staff unprofessional, paid way to much for this! Thank God it was for one sleepless night

The third floor was being renovated. We were on the second floor. It was noisy between 8:am and 8:pm. The elevator did not work most of the time. Otherwise the hotel was good.

DONT LEAVE ANYTHING IN YOUR ROOM. YOU WONT GET IT BACK. BUT, OTHER THAN THAT IT WAS A NICE PLACE TO STAY.

Of course, not your five star. But the employees make up for it. Allison was great, and the rest of the crew. Highly recommend it. Awesome location!

La Quinta usually offers exactly what the business traveler needs: value, inside rooms, clean and a little breakfast. But, this time when I checked in they said "you have to take a smoking room" after they had already accepted my reservation AND payment on a non-smoking room. At 9pm after a long drive and a full day, not fun to sleep in a disgusting ashtray.

Just fine for the price. If you need a place to lay your head down, feel safe, clean and get a good nights sleep, perfect. If you want the Ritz, go stay there.

Business stay. A little high priced, but an ok hotel at best.

Convenience for family travel at a good value makes this a great place to stay between Louisiana and North Carolina

location was great, in the center of Newnan. The staff was SUPER friendly and great! Room was ok and average. All in all a good experience!

beds were advertised as queen size. they were not queen size. everything was fine beds were just to uncomfortable.

I have stayed at various LaQuinta's in the past with very good results. This location is not the same. The girl was not at the desk when another traveler and I arrived, making us wait during her break outside. When I checked in, she gave me something to sign and acted like I had three horns when I wanted to verify the pricing on her sheet that she kept hidden behind the desk. When I checked out, they refused to give me a receipt, saying my confirmation from Orbiz was all I need. The room was OK until I turned on the bathroom light. The mirror was disgustingly dirty from the previous visitor and there was mold in the corners of the bathtub. When I later turned on the room lights, I realized the room had not been dusted for quite a while since I could almost write my name on the clock's dust. The breakfast was the final straw: the waffle maker produced uncooked waffles, the OJ was warm with my one sip providing absolutely no flavor of orange, there was not option for tea for us non-coffee drinkers and the napkins were paper towels from a bathroom! I got up and went across the street to the Chick-fil-A. Overall, I would have left the night before if I was not concerned about getting stuck with the bill.
