Residence Inn Newark Elizabeth/Liberty International Airport

I kept waking up to a loud vibrating noise from within the room. Water takes long to get hot, towels didn't smell clean. Not enough shampoo for more than one person. 2 out of 5 staff members were friendly. Others didn't smile. Bed was queen size, too small for 2 people and not comfortable.

We stayed here while visiting New York City. Hotel is near a new mall and several chain restaurants. It was a decent drive to New York, Statue of Liberty (Jersey area) ferry and about 20 min drive from path train station which made our travel to 911 memorial east. The kitchenette was very convenient as they have silverware and plates for us to use. Fridge was good size to store food. It was an overall good stay, we have no complaints.

I was rather disappointed overall with the Residence Inn. A friend and I travel to NJ for a wedding shower, a quick trip in and out. My first disappointment was that i had to pay to park there. I booked a hotel room at a place where i can't park my car without paying for that too!!! Also, there were two adults and only 1 bed in the room with a pull out sofa maybe i should of paid more attention when i booked the room but i didn't. When asked if i could change room I was told "since i booked through a third party it would be $309/night WHAT.. Also, i could not get my Marriott reward point for the stay. I may need to rethink how i book the next trip wheter to book all together or individually.

hotel is in a good place near shopping center, the breakfest is great as you eat nice, for families its a very good prices, they should not charge for parking andthey do 7 usd per night in a total good hotel

the hotel is billed as "pet friendly" but you have to put our $100 non refundable pet fee, we were only in the hotel for one night, less than 8 hours , the fee was reduced to $50 but why have a fee , the cleanining process is not any different. The location close to the airport was great and the staff was friendly.

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Price includes breakfast and dinner so made it very economical. Lots of room to spread out and very comfortable. Only negative was that the times listed for breakfast in the room were not the same as actual times. Looks like typo on some marketing material. Be sure to check actual times.

Very bad experience at their breakfast buffet. They could not handle the number of guest for two consecutive days but did not take any measures on second day too.

I love this place, the staff is more than friendly, there is never any problem with the bill, food is great and the rooms are always clean. I've stayed here at least 5 x's over the past year and never had any complaints. Location is great!

The Residence Inn by Marriot Newark Elizabeth/Liberty International Airport was a nice place to stay with my family. Having the kitchenette was so convenient. The extra space is a plus with the kids. The bath and sink were separate with a nice closet. The only problem was with the pool. It needed to be cleaned and no one was doing anything about it. There were several people that were not able to swim.

This Residence Inn was not as nice as some we've stayed in, but it was adequate and the staff were very accommodating. There is a shopping mall near by, but you'll need a car if you want to do any extensive sightseeing; although the free shuttle will take you to the airport and you can get to NYC via train and PATH from Newark Liberty.

The Marriott Residence Inn has many amenities like home. A full kitchen which is properly supplied, comfy beds and the toilet area is separate from the vanity area. Excellent coffee and coffee maker in the room and great Turkish towels toped off a great 6 day business stay. The only change I would make would be to replace all queen beds with king beds or two doubles if the reservation is made for two people.

Good location-- proximity to Newark airport and available shuttle service.

The Mariott Residence hotels come as close to being in your own home as anyplace we have found in our travels for business and pleasure. The full kitchen, comfortable beds and bathroom set-up are excellent. Internet connection is fast and easy. The staff at the Elizabeth location were helpful and caring. The added bonus is two tv sets - one in the bedroom and one in the sitting area - so there are no arguments about what to watch.
