Location and access to transportation is great. Friendliness and helpfulness of staff leaves much to be desired.

Handicap accessibility was adequate, except for elevator access and convenience. Parking and hotel entrance was too congested.

Everything was as advertised. The shuttle to and from EWR was particularly good and very much appreciated.

The hotel location and the staff were the highlights of my trip. Despite an intial room with dirty bathroom, I was impressed with the customer service response. My first room had disgusting hair all over the sink. When I complained, they moved me to new room and called me to follow up and ensure the new room was good. The bellhop and shuttle driving men were also very courteous and helpful. This is an older Hilton but it was clean, facilities look ok and once again, it’s in a great location. Elevator is key activated, a nice feature for someone worried about safety. I would probably stay again, but only if I could not get a better deal elsewhere because the price was higher than I cared to pay for a “Hilton” that is older (cost comes from prime position I am sure) but nonetheless clean and good. No breakfast! But 24 hour fitness center looked nice and the hotel connects to Penn Station!

Hilton has really went downhill... Peeling wallpaper, dirty floors, wrinkled up bed sheets, broken bathroom parts, no pride in their Property.

Don’t stay it’s not clean. My sheets were dirty and the room smell very bad I had to ask to be placed in a different room.

Eric was awesome! Perfect costumer service! Friendly quick check in.

The train is located a few steps from hotel and you can be in Manhattan within minutes. It is also minutes from Newark Airport! Great value, clean, and comfortable!

Great hotel. Great location next to Penn Station. The parking is a bit expensive but after all this is Newark NY area.

The hotel was nice, close to restaurant and walking distance from the substation.

I was there for one evening on a Friday. Busy area with Newark Penn Station across the street so noisy as would expect. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Staff not overly friendly but for a night it was fine

This is a great hotel for visiting NYC. Hotel is connected by overpass to NJ Penn Station which was so convenient - and only a 20 minute ride to either NY Penn Station or One World Trade Center!! Also, the hotel has free shuttle to Newark airport. Hotel was very nice. Only thing they need to do is update rooms a little more. You can tell they've done some updating so the rooms seemed half finished. But they were clean which is most important. Staff was excellent!! Plus the cost savings were more that half of what it would have been to stay in NYC. Would stay here again!

It's convenient and much more affordable than staying in the city. Convenience was a bit less this time, due to train delays, as they upgrade tracks. I had a room above the street, and I'm a country boy. But the only noise that really got through was train whistles - and the loud latches on room doors that echoed down the hall. Security is great, but even if you close the door carefully, the latch clicks shut very loudly.

Very loud a/c unit that kept me up at night. Pillows that gave no head support & the contental breakfast was NOT complementary. Basically it was a good place to store our bags while we toured the area. Not much else to offer.

Overall the hotel was great with a nice room in my case had a view. Very nice staff. Located next to Penn Station and connected by an indoor bridge. The only aspect I would evaluate badly is the hotel shuttle. The system is disorganazied could be more efficient.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We do have a bit of a unique parking set up, due to the fact that the hotel does not have its own garage and being in the downtown city of Newark, space is very limited in this immediate area. Thank you again for your comments. We hope to see you again in the future.
