The Towers of the Waldorf Astoria New York

fabulous experience, everyone quite helpful, great location and staff very courteous and helpful

I booked suite 39A in the Waldorf Astoria Towers and I was not disappointed. The room was spacious, luxuriously appointed, and simply gorgeous to behold. According to the book Churchill and America, Sir Winston Churchill stayed in this suite in 1931, so it's also historic (especially since it was during his stay that he was struck by a car on 5th Avenue). Overall, the Waldorf Astoria is the height of luxury and you will not be disappointed by staying here.

Always love the Towers, and especially loved my room!!!

To us the hotel was everything it was touted to be. Up to date amenities but still holding true to the classic feel of times gone by. I can't say enough about the friendliness and helpful attitude of the staff. To me, that was probably the best part. And the location is terrific. To the west side of Park Ave you have the upscale shopping of 5th Ave and the artsy feel of Broadway as well as Times Square and Rockefeller Center, all within a short walk. To the east side you have the authentic feel of NY delis and cafes. Central Park is not far to walk to and the downtown area is a 15-20 minute cab ride. We were on the 41st floor of the Towers and had a lovely view. Rooms are small but well appointed and clean. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The hotel is beautiful and the service is great but the shared bar and lobby with the Waldorf is tired and crowded.

Rooms are beautiful and a great deal considering how beautiful the rooms are. The downside are the common areas and bar. The lobby to the towers is beautiful, but the bar is the same one as the rest of the Waldorf Astoria. It's tired, crowded, and desperately in need of an update.

I took my wife here for a birthday get away and the stay was all that we expected. Our room was upgraded to a large suite and the staff was simply outstanding!

This was my second stay at the Waldorf Towers and both experiences, though only short, one night stays, were excellent. this is a first class hotel that just happens to be in an ideal location for my business meetings. I have stayed in many different NYC hotels and none are better than this one.
