Hotel in the middle of nowhere. Staff is fine but general upkeep is definitely substandard

I wanted to cancel cause room was dirty had a hard time canceling and finally the manager came in and cancelled.

Although the check in staff was nice it doesn't cause you to overlook the condition of the hotel . All outdoor walkways smelled of urine and the overall appearance of the hotel is outdated . Our first nonsmoking room smelled like smoke and we were quickly moved to another room after our request to do so . However we quickly learned that the smoke smell was in all Rooms.

The room was clean, great customer service, and free breakfast.

At first i was assigned a room that has mold and the TV did not work , i called the front desk at 1 am and i was told that help my take about 2 hours , so the espected me to be up until 3am however i came to rest the night. Then i was put in to a room with the same problems plus the heater was not working, then i asked to speak to the manager and they said that manager is never in the premises that he is always in and out. Unaceptable that a Property that has to be run with someone presence at all the times by NY regulations dont have the manager accesible to speak to the clients.

I stay here almost every weekend because it's close to work. Sam at the front smdesk always makes things smooth.

I was utterly disappointed how they took 4 whole days to charge my card ,I checked in Monday and got charged Friday ,when I only stayed two nights

The front staff and desk were great. One of the rooms I reserved, the fridge was broke. The staff got us a new one right away. The only issue I had was that, it looked like there was a huge leak or flood on both of our rooms ceilings. The entire ceiling had water marks and patches. And, the curtains were all water stained. This was in both rooms. The one room was worse than the other.

The door to the room was kicked off and the hotel did a small patch up job. If you stood on the outside, in the hallway you could see into the room with the door closed. Maybe they liked looking at the guest at night. The room was dirty. Like the maid service came said the guest before did not dirty much, and just refilled the sheets. There was makeup on two pillows, so gross! I picked up the phone and it would not work. I walked to the lobby, and complained to the night attendant. He could not do anything. He gave us one pillow case and promised more later. We felt safer sleeping in the car so we took a shower ( which was the only thing worth paying for, and headed to sleep in the car where it was cleaner. In the morning we complained again and the person took the complaint. Smh aweful place not worthy of 3.5... More like 1.0.

Stayed at this hotel many times. It nice in the fact that you have a roof over your head. Everything else is just gross. Rooms are very tiny, and always dirty. Bathrooms almost always have black mold. Showers very rarely drain properly (everyone loves to stand in ankle deep water while showering). Staff is usually friendly but not very helpful, anything you ask for will take them at least an hour to do.

Everything was good! We loved it! Recommended, close to subway and the city.

It seems that this hotel buys the cheapest low quality items it can find including discounted befalls that clearly show they were frozen. OJ is watered down Sunny delight and stale cereal that has probably been visited by many roaches, I have worked in soup kitchens that had higher quality items to eat.

I had a good experience at this hotel. My room was clean and nice, but they don't have parking! I had to pay an extra $15 to park my car in a different lot down the street for one night. They really need to get their own lot!

It was a great experience that I would recommend .

I tried 4 different rooms in 2 separate trips in this hotel. I got bedbugs in at least two of them, and a third one had a dead one under the bed. On the first trip I got some red spots on both my arms but didn't think much of it. A bit more careful on my second trip, I found a live bed bug after inspecting my bed. The manager got me a different room quickly (which I can appreciate). However, he tried to convince me that this never happened before. I find this pretty hard to believe - there were multiple blood stains on walls, sheet, mattress covers etc. for both rooms. I would have appreciated a staff that acknowledges the problem - it sounds like they would rather hide it.

Not the best area (seems in development) but relatively close to the main subways

Nice hotel in Long Island City. Convenient to Subway to Manhattan. Pleasant staff. Room was small but clean and neat but could hear people in hallway and room next to it.

Perfectly comfortable, convenient place in Long Island City just blocks from the N/Q (and others within easy walking distance). The only problem is the elevator in the hotel (slow, frustrating to use during check-out time).

Was clean. Very close to midtown manhattan. Only issue is flexibility with late checkout.

very clean, very good location closed by Subway station, breakfast
