Night Hotel Theater District, Times Square

4.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Wonderful location within a few steps of Times Square, 5th avenue and more. Very nicely decorated, comfortable bed and good AC (seems to be rare in New York). The staff was extremely helpful and personable, Patrick is great! My only negatives were due to the fact it's an older building so there were some small things like low water pressure and smaller rooms. Still a great deal in a great location!

Nice design, close to Times Square and all transportation

This is a great centrally located hotel. It's a half block off Times Square and no more than a 10 minute walk from the majority of the theaters. The rooms are very small but very clean and the beds are the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept on (plus they give you a feather pillow and a very nice firm pillow). The staff is truly what makes this hotel shine, they are AMAZING. They will assist you in all your needs from navigating the subway and streets to making reservations and recommendations. For my family Patrick stood out the most. He was great. He has a great personality and is knowledgable. He helped make our trip fantastic. I highly recommend staying here while you visit New York.

the hotel was nice with great location, but the wifi they provide was very slow and unstable. The room was clean but we found a few items were left from previos guest. The air condition was a bit noisy and the the wind directly to the face during sleep.

The hotels is in a great location just a few feet from Times Square. The staff was awesome and very courteous. The room was clean and comfortable. I loved my stay here!! no complains.

We were very pleased to find such a friendly staff that was also helpful. Loved the hotel, walking distance to lots of great things to do!!!

The room was so dark, cold, and the bed...the bed was so great. I slept so good and the people that work there are amazing!

Love the bed very comfortable staff is very pleasant the only thing I wish they would provide what's coffee

This hotel has a good location close to Times Square - it is about half a block walk! It is walking distance to a lot of restaurants (9th Avenue is great for food) and attractions such as Empire State Building, Central Park (a little bit of a walk but its doable), and so forth. Close to many subways, Grand Central, and so forth. The front desk staff was always willing to suggest things and take you into consideration. It was pretty quiet for its location and you didn't hear much at night aside from your neighbors closing their doors which shut very loud. The beds are super comfortable and soft though and you're usually tired from your day to day activities you can sleep easily.

Staff was great, no complaints there, it's just man there Rooms are small. Sorry just being honest!!

At check in staff told me they were sold out, yet I had a reservation. The room had an over sized electric mini bar that took up needed floor space. The main light switch was broken and sharp to the touch. Wifi was very poor and was nonexistent most of my stay. Management emailed me about my stay but has not responded back to 2 emails I sent last week and it was a direct email from the assistant manager. I expected more from a luxury hotel. Location was the best part of the stay.

The rooms had character but was very small and I am not exaggerating. But there is a style there. Suppose to be semi upscale but the minibar has a trigger that if you touch or move, they charge you right away. It was petty in that they charge you immediately instead of clearing up things when you check out. Behavior fitting for a 1 star hotel but not a supposedly classy place.

This hotel was super fun and artsy. The black and white motif and decor - and slightly racy photographs and decor gives the hotel a sexy feel. The room was clean and I loved the style of the bed. I would totally stay here again.

Great location. Staff was great. Room was small but comfortable. Bathroom was tiny, only reason I gave it 4 not 5 stars.

Well situated Nice staff Great groovy atmosphere I recommend!

Great place great staff well situated young trendy atmosphere

Second time staying at this hotel. The location can not get any better, right at Time Square and easy to get around. Staff was friendly and the room was very clean. The only cons is that the AC makes a loud noise when it operates, but definitely will recommend to others if they need a good place to stay in NYC.

Overall, I liked the dark, Eyes Wide Shut style even though it's not typically my style. It may not be for everyone though. Our room was cool looking. However, the room and especially the bed were really small. Combine that with a rattling AC we had to turn off at night (creating a warm room) and our sleep wasn't too good. Location near the theater district and Times Square was easy walking and close subway to other parts of town. Would stay again, but try a bigger room and bed.

Clean, small room but average for New York. No complaints

Staff was very helpful with directions around the city and use of the subway. Staff was very helpful with luggage since we were there early and not able to check in yet. Hotel was perfectly located for our needs being only one block from Times Square and theatre district. Room was very clean, just a little small. If I had just one negative it was the price of parking. Overall though it was a good experience.
