Very quick registration and leaving hotel even faster. Thanks
Rooms must have renovated recently,as they now have very techie friendly bedside lamps with outlets for all of my techie needs watch, iPhone IPad The concierge lounge is very welcoming with good snacks and very friendly staff. It is definitely my choice for an airport hotel at EWR. The shuttle bus was new and immaculate with a very friendly and helpful driver as well.
Shuttle is a great free service, quiet, clean, next to the airport, comfy bed!!! Service was excellent, food is expensive though. Good place to stay!
Cancelled flight was rebooked to next day. Hotel is super close to airport and has plenty of amenities
Uncomfortable lobby chairs. Not great for a meet and greet location.
I was allowed to check in around noon. Lady at front desk was very helpful with check-in and directions to the city with bus and train transfers. room was clean, food was very good. shuttle was on time to the airport.
Loved the hotel but had a problem with my Tv and it took 45 mins for someone to show up. Thought that was a little show up. Expected faster response since the hotel is so nice.
Great location and staff very friendly- very clean. will stay here again.
The overall experience was great. Only issuce was really witht he parking. first getting out of the parking lot seemed unessarily hard. At $6.00 per hour the key never worked I would be at the gate for 10 minutes before someone would buzz me out. the same thing happened when checking out the next day. this should be handled.
We had to stay a night by the airport and opted for this hotel. We are happy we did -- it is close, clean, with great people providing great service. The food was actually surprisingly good and the hotel priced it fairly. The place has a nice atmosphere and is kid friendly. I wish they provided free wi-fi in each room but this is the only thing missing. We had a comfortable rest and a good time during the stay. The shuttle service was also first class. Thank you!
One night returning from Europe Very comfortable and good service
Nice room and facilities. Bed comfortable and bar/restaurant good. Only negative comment to make would be that the walls would appear to be wafer thin and any noise from the adjoining room appeared to be magnified
This Marriott has a perfect location, literally 1/4 of a mile from Newark Airport--particularly nice for an early morning flight. It's comfortable, clean, has a large fitness center, and is very well equipped. It has a very good restaurant--I had excellent food and top service. The irritations are two, the most important being that the shuttle to the airport makes the trip sporadically, much less frequently than the every-20-minutes advertised. Of less importance but still bothersome to me was the high charge for internet connection--in today's world it should be free, particularly at a hotel of this caliber.
Standard Marriott Hotel with all the amenities and comfort you need for a overnight stay at the airport
Great location for late arrivals and early departures from EWR. Restaurants offer good food and good service.
I prefer to stay at a Marriott. Nothing wrong with other places, but I know I will get a clean, nicely appointed room, with amenities that meet my needs. The Newark Marriott was exactly what I hoped it would be. Near enough to the airport so we didn't delay our flight plans for additional travel, reasonable parking, a decent restaurant, lovely lobby (with a great fireplace, much appreciated in the winter). The cost was not out of line, especially for a New York area place. Will we stay there again? - Absolutely.
Very comfortable and quiet for an airport hotel. I would recommend it to a friend
This hotel has everything in one convenient (dining, business center, exercise room, pool) place near the airport so is a good alternative for a short stay. However, the cost of the rooms, the overpriced meals and being charged for every little thing make it a poor value. I try to stay at the Courtyard in Newark as it is much less expensive and the rooms are just as good and it too has all that I need.
ALL GOOD. pretty good value. close to the airport.
Lovely hotel, was only in there for a very short period of time, but it was made to be an enjoyable stay. Pillows were a little too fluffy.
