This is a "no frills" hotel. There is no workout facility, pool or even a pen and notepad in your room. The breakfast offerings are about 95%+ carbohydrates. Nonetheless, the rooms are very clean and adequate, and the hotel is conveniently located for us.

I arrived at the hotel late, as I had adviced since I had a late flight. Been waiting more than 10 mins because the clerk is not around to check me in! Worst experience I've ever had.

I was really disappointed that due a series of unfortunate events weather and traffic related I was unable to make my reservation. The hotel was unwilling to change the reservation or give me refund of my money. Alas, without wasting anymore of my time, all I can do is give them a poor rating. This place has bad business practices and terrible customer service.

Friendly and helpful staff! Nice breakfast. Metro is just a few blocks.

La Quinta Inn, 3rd Ave Brooklyn, is a conveniently located budget hotel. Subway 9th St/4th Ave at walking distance. Rooms are good and fully furnished. Friendly staff, though breakfast is chaos and war. Who ever serves yoghurt without spoons? The quality of the conditioned air in the rooms is poor, however. Nevertheless, I can recommend this hotel for a short stay.

AC fan- VERY LOUD- non stop banging when turned on. Unable to use at night because so loud. When asked to change rooms staff informed that all AC/ fans were like this in the hotel. Refrigerator broken. When asked what was wrong with it or was it fixable, staff informed that most were broken and it would not be possible to swap it out. Sharp exposed screw on bathroom door where knob had fallen off. Daughter poked/ hurt her hand.

Security was a big issue for me when they gave me my key for the very first day when I walked to my room the door was opened I had to come back down to the office, the clerk told me the housekeeping forgot to close the door

We were going to thevBarclays Center. This hotel was two train stops from there so it was very convenient. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom was well stocked with towels etc. Continental breakfast had a nice variety also. Will definitely go back.

It was a tight squeeze into the bathroom and the elevator could definitely use an upgrade, but for the price and location we were looking for, it was a good choice. They were very accommodating and held our bags after we checked out, so we could go to our event and not have to pay for another day just to keep our luggage somewhere.

My husband and I went back to New York for part sight seeing trip (my husband has only been to New York once) part family reunion. We had a great time. The hotel was in a not-so-great area of Brooklyn. Parking was very limited. There were maybe 10 or 12 parking spaces behind the hotel. Otherwise you were on your own to drive up and down the streets to find a parking space. Not fun! We received 3 clean towels daily. Only one day there weren't any towels in the bathroom. My husband went down to the lobby to get a couple and came back with only one. The tissues were like sandpaper. So was the TP. The custodian for cleaning rooms was not there for the 6 days we were there if, in fact, there was one. We received fresh towels and wash cloths daily. We had a clean tub and bathroom sink. The room was never vacuumed and the night stands and desk were not cleaned. The trash was taken daily. The door to the room was steel (which didn't make me feel at home). When you opened the bathroom door it hooked on to the knob of a 6ft high portable closet. The bathroom floor was never cleaned. Not even swept. Forget a breakfast or decent coffee. The coffee tasted like hot chocolate. The breakfast hours were from 6:00 am to 9:00 am. You had to be there at 6:00. If you went at 7 or 8 there wasn't any selection. Just waffles. I saw the lady who was in charge of the breakfast hours. She was having a great breakfast at 8:30. But all we had was waffles. I go to Brooklyn NY a lot. But I will find a different hotel in Brooklyn on my next trip.

Room in basement was clean ,staff was Luke warm ,wifi services didn't work at all or very limited. Neighborhood okay but will not choose this hotel again over all amenities below average

Great pet friendly hotel. The breakfast is definitely taken advantage of by most of the clientele, so get there fast.

met most expectations, parking is limited but was able to find a spot. hotel was busy so wasn't able to get an early check in.

I just needed a clean place to crash while attending a funeral in town. This place fits the bill. The room was smaller than I'm used to. I was the only one traveling so I didn't mind. Easy to get in and out though parking was a challenge at times.

Upon entering, staff was very friendly and engaged in small talk with me about the area and different services they offered. Check-in was smooth sailing! The room was a little smaller than I expected but It was comfortable nonetheless. I surprised my Mr. with a little birthday fun for the night. He enjoyed the overnight stay a little get away from our norm. The bed was huge and very comfortable. My biggest problem with the room was that some of the towels were dirty/stained big turn off at bath time. Overall I had no major complaints. I'd maybe visit again but id definitely request new towels.

I needed to cancel my reservation and contacted the hotel staff. They told me they will be calling soon but they never did. I think this is an indication of poor business practices. Good work La Quinta!... you took my 200$ but will be the last ones.

convenient budget hotel in brooklyn

La Quinta Inn, 3rd Ave Brooklyn, is a conveniently located budget hotel. Subway 9th St/4th Ave at walking distance. Rooms are good and fully furnished.
