The staff not very attentive, the conditions of the rooms wasn't the optimal.

I'm so glad that I took pictures, otherwise you might not believe that a hotel would be so nasty. Period Blood and pee stains on bed covers and pillow cases. Mold in the bathroom. nasty stains on window drapes cigaret smell coming from other room. Someone from the hotel came to my room and smelled the cigs. He recommended that i crack my window open! not to mention the loud train noises.

Great Hotel not a great area but well lit and safe right across the street from a McDonalds. a few block walk to subway. good off street parking Included. Cant beat this hotel.. my favorite when coming to the city

The room is standard size and amenities. There is no safe in the room. A safe would be preferred. There were some maintenance issues suck as water damaged ceilings in the room. Shower had some mold and hairs so not real clean. We had no signs of bed bugs or major issues. It is located 3 blocks from train stops. Area seems fairly safe even late at night. Check out time is 11am not noon.

Very disappointed, booked this hotel ,because they had free parking, got at the hotel ,parked in the back in a free spot , same night at 1:30 am we received a call from a front desk telling to move our car From a parking lot because it's ,,not parked properly ''?!!!at 1:30 am we had to get up and find a parking . No one apologize in the morning or solve this issue, we had to leave and find another hotel! And also hotel is very dirty, towels are disgusting, smells bad, breakfast awful.

This is an excellent budget hotel, stayed before, will stay again. It could use some reumodelling but that'd drive the price up. There is a kind of a breakfast but other facilities nearby. Pete's Diner comes highly recommended. Stores of all kinds nearby and the subway is 2 walking blocks, takes you straight into Times Square. The staff has been helpful and I gave the maids a tip. What I don't like is the insufficient wifi, slow and many times drops away. Probably there's only one router for the whole place. If you're a business traveller and must have wifi then you may have a problem. On previous visits wifi was also a problem, so it doesn't seem to be of concern to the management. Overal, good decent budget hotel for the price conscious traveller. There have some negative comments about this venue, but if you want the Hilton, then go there and pay their rates. At this La Quinta the beds were just as good.

Shower was broken and took hours to fix. Huge nasty stain on mattress. Door jam was missing and it looked like our door was kicked in... didn’t close all the way. The staff said it was normal. I think not!!!!!!!

Pros: close to Manhattan, staff was very nice and helpful, room was clean, shower was clean with a good drain, air conditioner worked, parking around back, free breakfast. Cons: the parking, while free, is quite limited.

The staff on this hotel are not the friendliest, but they are not really rude also. They just seem to not to be too hospitable and just there to work. But I have noticed they are not really helpful and does not seem to care too much about the guests. The business center computers does not have internet connection. We are a family with a toddler, my husband had a hard time carrying our luggages and stroller to the 2nd floor because the lift for luggages was not working. There is a free breakfast but we were not able to try it for the few days we stayed so I cant really tell much about it. The room is OK. Not the cleanest I have seen, the toilet seat was a bit dirty on check in, but was clean the next day. If you will be staying and expect some packages from online orders, better ask the receptionist 1st because they refused to accept some of our packages.

Great alternative if you cant find hotel in Manhattan on budget. Easy and fast to travel to Manhattan. Times Square in 25min.

Personal not friendly, terrible breakfast, even not toilet paper In the bathroom .

not have parking the rooms is very dirty and the personal is very aggressive

Located just a few blocks from the 7 train, you can get a week long unlimited pass for $33 and be set. Hotel itself was a bit older and in need of renovation to keep up with other properties. Despite the visual imperfections the building and facility was in full working order and had no maintenance issues that were observed. Breakfast from 6-10am is great as it gives an extra hour compared to other properties that usually end at 9am. Staff was professional, and accommodating. Answered all questions, and even held luggage in a safe place for several hours after check out so that we were able to enjoy exploring for a few hours before our flight.

We were flying into JFK and had a transfer for the next day at LGA and needed something on relatively short notice, and on a lighter budget. Big mistake booking this place. We asked for milk at night for our infant, and the jug was so dirty, it was baffling they even showed it to guests. As we were walking to the room with the cup, a dead insect floated onto the surface. Needless to say, we sought breakfast elsewhere the next day. The room smelled of burnt fabric and old food. Everything was stale. Blinds didn't work to cover window. The internet was in and out and on low speed. Lastly, the people hanging around this hotel are very sketch and made us uncomfortable. So, if you're extremely desperate, and need to stay for only one night, book. The Uber to LGA was $20, taxi from JFK $42. If you're actually planning a longer visit, steer way clear of this place.

Free parking, quiet room, friendly front desk staff. Highly recommended.

They try to eat ur money . Without telling you what ur being charged for

There was a bad order in rooms and hallway. Location was close to subway, easy access.

I was visiting NY with my friends. I'm just going to list all of the things that went wrong this weekend. 1. There was no lock on the bathroom door (there was a hole where the lock should've been) 2. The front desk staff was rude when I called down to inquire about additional amenities. 3. When our room was "supposedly cleaned" they put dirt stained wash clothes in our bathrooom for us to use.

Hotel tried to charge me double for my room they are a bunch of scam artists do not book here

My room was very quiet, rather spacious and well equipped, although some furniture was shabby and the carpet was not quite clean. The breakfast room was very small and crowded so I could not find a separate table. The neighborhood seemed rather depressing but it is very close to Manhattan so it is worth considering for those who cannot afford hotels in Manhattan itself. Unfortunately, subway is running poorly on weekends so close does not mean easy to get there.
