Knights Inn JFK

It WAS near the JFK airport but the listed free shuttle had been discontinued earlier that month. They did accommodate us and give us the free shuttle, though. However, there were several things wrong with the room itself. No smoke detector, toilet paper holder missing (there was toilet paper resting on the bathtub), heat did not work properly. And to top it off, we were visited by a mouse during the night, which got into my backpack which was on a chair and ate my snacks as well as chewed part of a paper label from my yarn. NOT A HAPPY PERSON!

Hotel is excellent there's restaurants nearby walking distance , where they deliver to the room . There's a laundromat in front of the hotel. There's buses , trains Taxi service connected to the hotel . The staff is excellent when it comes to safety it is very safe they have cameras all over . I had to give Them my room key at 11 a.m. but I had a meeting to attend . They held the bag for me until I return therefore I didn't have to pay extra a day extra for just having my luggage in the room . Excellent customer service and this is very important when you're away from home .

The hotel is very shabby. The rooms are cramped. Breakfast area is so small for too many guests. The sheets and towels has funny odor. The room and bathroom are not properly cleaned. It's definitely the worst hotel I have stayed recently.

Stayed for one night, room was on the fourth floor. Room facilities were comfortable yet noise from the front could be heard at night. Breakfast was basic, shuttle service from airport was good and staff were pleasing.

Conveniently located near highway and JFK, but in a busy neighborhood. Although we were on the 5th (top) floor, outside noise was near unbearable for sleeping, even at night. So, be sure to ask for a room at the back of the hotel. Room was small, but adequate, as general amenities were all there, but basic. Water pressure was a bit low. Free WiFi was pretty good, but required watching an ad before logging in every time. Free parking was tight, but glad to have had a spot every night. Overall, got what I pay for, with no major problems. Although, I would consider paying a bit more for a better place next time.

We were promised a coffee pot in the room. There was none. We were told that the hotel was recently bought out from Super 8 and is given minimal staff. The bathroom sink leaked. We were promised extra pillows but because we couldn't get them ourselves because of the late hour we didn't get them. The bed was about what you would expect but the blanket resembled thick paper! There weren't enough towels and they were not replenished for our second night. The staff is not to blame because there just were so few it was impossible for them to be efficient. I know I won't be going back there again!

Good average hotel for good price. Good location not too far to JFK and free shuttle. Just 5 minutes walk to subway.....

A good surprise for a last minute booking. 30/40 minutes subway direct to Manhattan, 10 minutes to the airport by car. A fairly good price for the Manhattan area. Staff friendly. Hotel and room clean. Breakfast included. Free parking.

They need to do way better to accommodate guests. There was used towels and used soap in the bathroom and the sheet was not all clean and the room was not smelling fresh. I would never go back there

Hotel has a continental breakfast with waffles. It has an airport shuttle. 10 minutes from JFK. They pick you up, or leave you there. Metro station is 5 minutes walking. Wendys, and other fast foods walking distance. Rooms are clean and hotel has WIFI for free in rooms.

Hotel was comparatively economical but lacked very basic amenities & cleanliness. also had poor WiFi.

Room was not clean. Hotel area was not good. You can find resturaunt around hotel.

Friendly staffs, small parking space, breakfast ok, cleanliness ok, location great and stay was great.

our experience was good for one night stay. the parking spaces are right at the intersection of two streets and open. So we felt a bit insecure in parking our car overnight, but fortunately everything seemed to be ok the following morning. Overall good.

One of the best I've stayed in so far. The front desk staff could have been more polite but thats something foreigners have to learn; a little English classes wouldn't be too bad either.

Spent one night in Super 8 and had a good night rest. Easy to reach from JFK airport - AirTrain to Federal Circle, phone hotel for shuttle (free) and voila! You reach your hotel easily. It is also very close to a Metro station which is very convenient when you want to visit Manhattan. The guy at the reception was very helpful.

CLOSE TO FOOD AND AIRPORT , It's average and good for short stay

If you are looking for a location that is close to the highway, free parking in NYC, close to local restaurants, decent room and staff, you can't go wrong here. Stayed here and it was good.

Super 8 close to JFK, Airport Shuttle, Mcdonalds, Wendys, Dunkin Donuts 2 minutes walking. This is very important, metro station 100 mts away. Staff very courteous. Except the shuttle driver a guy that drive like been in a car race. Just tell him, "drive slow". He is a 5 feet guy who always is speaking in a cell phone very loud. All other was perfect. I recommend it to anybody. Free breakfast with cereal and apples, waffles and coffee to start the day. In the middle of a neighborhood. Bus stop, in front of hotel. Room housekeeping, very nice. Towels, clean and fresh. Staff eager to help you. Computer in front of lobby to print boarding pass. Go there is a nice deal!!!!!

This hotel has been a great place for me and my spouse other to relax over the weekend with family and friends. The location is close to shopping, expressways, which make it very convenient as well as appealing. The hotel rooms could include microwaves and refrigerators this would defiantly increase the comfortably for the patrons. The staff has always been flexible and helpful. The overall experience was great and we would book here again.
